"Nice hotel in a very nice location"

There was no breakfast. Just tea/Coffee, muffins and juice.

Would have liked a good breakfast. We had to go to a nearby restuarant: Pipe to have some breakfast.

"Great location"

Our family had a very nice visit and would definitely stay here again. Wonderful location just a block from the beach and there are local restaurants within a short walking distance. Fresh muffins and juice each morning were very good. There is a bar with outdoor seating next door and the music could be heard in our room but it wasn't terrible and we drowned it out with sleep sounds.

"Fantastic boutique hotel"

Newly remodeled and they did a fantastic job. Rooms are great. Service is fantastic. There is a fun bar right next-door. Close the ocean andeverything else. They give everybody a record player in their room and they have albums down in the lobby that you can take to your room and play. Spent a wonderful morning getting ready listening to Bob Marley so I would highly recommend

Our host Bob was very kind and thoughtful. He went above and beyond for us.

We made our reservations online. I was discouraged that I saw the rate drop considerably before our visit, yet I was unable to get the new rate.

Beautiful spacious rooms that are very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to many restaurants. Staff deliver a muffin and smoothie to your room for breakfast- coffee is available in their hotel lobby!

Nothing except it would be great if they could bring a cup of coffee with the muffin etc. since they are already delivering it to the room!

"Great beach location; not as touristy as Carlsbad."

Jenny at the Lobby was great; very friendly and helpful; I like the parking down below and secure, worth the $20 per night. The location is great if you like to surf or be close to the ocean. Walking distance to Pacific Coast Grill (recommended). The free use of beach equipment was nice. Also free polaroid.

The balcony could be better. The chair were mostly for single seating. there was one couch that looked really uncomfortable. more love seats; more privacy for different groups. balcony closed at 10pm, kind of early.
