Great location, walking distance to the beach with some good restaurants nearby. Nice rooftop to relax and watch the sunset. Boutique feel to the whole experience.

Noise level within the hotel between rooms; person sharing room wall had TV on all night which was loud. Little musty smell in room. Water pressure was low; but good temperature.

Location in Encinitas was perfect, staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is challenging in the neighborhood but the hotel has secure parking under the building for an extra 20 which is reasonable. The room is cute, bed and pillows comfy, bathroom tile work is so cute and cheery. Complimentary Carrot ginger juice in the morning with a muffin. Walking is easy to bars and restaurants. Great rooftop deck overlooking the ocean for morning coffee or sunsets.

Everything was really great. Location is amazing. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. Nice light breakfast and I loved the record player in my room. A perfect spot for a getaway. Location great near my favorite restaurant and coffee shop. A block from the ocean!

The rooms are not kept up like presented in photos (no cozy floor rugs etc). The outdoor rooftop space is nice but it is above the largest rooms (which I had). So you get to hear all the fun sounds of furniture being dragged around at 7am. I also wouldn’t recommend staying in one of those rooms facing the coast (because there’s a restaurant that turns into a club on the weekends. The location makes up for a lot of the annoyances that come with a 3-star hotel but spending $2K for 4 nights doesn’t seem worth the “mean girl” staff behavior and prejudice against nonwhite visitors. So many better places to stay.

Great location, we got an ocean view and it was a tiny sliver of a view. Not sure why they couldn’t put us in the other ocean view room that was never occupied. Also, the room felt a little Dirty. The rug under the bed was very discolored. The people are nice though.
