The one thing my husband and I love about Divi Aruba Phoenix is the staff we have gotten to know over the years. If you need anything around the resort, be sure you get to know Joel, Julio, Sandra, Jean Claude and Ariel, they are all wonderful and kind.

Joel, Julio and Ariel set up the papala each morning. They hustled and asked several times if there was anything else they could do. Can’t thank them enough.

We vacation in Aruba every year and this was our first time at the Divi Phoenix (I'm also a travel agent). We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely great location as this beachfront resort is within walking distance to restaurants, activities, shopping, transportation, and nightlife. We had the studio and were pleasantly surprised at spaciousness of the room. The front desk and other staff were professional and personable. We especially enjoyed our greeting every afternoon from Sandra Mora at the Towel stand (I referred to her as the "Pretty Lady"). She was always smiling and sharing kind words...we looked forward to seeing her as we started our day. We also look forward to staying at this resort again!

Had a wonderful vacation. Joel and Julio on the beach/pool area gave superb customer service. Ariel at the restaurant was amazing. Sandra at the towel shack is always smiling and providing a positive energy.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending three weeks at Divi's Phoenix resort in Aruba recently. The property and surroundings were beautiful as well as the room and view from the balcony. What sets this property apart however, was the service provided by the personnel. In the spirit of "One Happy Island" several staff members went above and beyond to assure that our stay was memorable. 1) Sandra, at the Towel exchange desk, in the beach area consistently greeted guests with a warm smile every morning. 2)_ At 7:00 am sharp, Julio placed loungers under the palapas for guests with a pleasant greeting and the ever present smile. 3) Aengy was a waitress at the Wave Shack during the days and served at Pure Ocean restaurant during some evenings. Again, she seemed to be sincerely interested in seeing that guests had a delightful stay. We are already counting the days until our next visit.

We rented through an owner. We had to wait 5 hours in the lobby before they gave us the key to our room. Then the room was on the 14th floor, too high for me. It was not clean and the tvs were blurry. The dishwasher was beeping every couple minutes. The elevator in that building is tiny and very scary. The next day we were able to move to the shorter building. Way nicer. Has 2 bathrooms and a stacked washer dryer. The tower did not and the ice machine was broken. It is a nice resort but pretty far from any restaurants. They have Pure beach cafe which is fine but gets old. There is a kitchen so a lot of people bring or buy their food and cook in the room. We had lunch at the pizza shack one day and the staff there was rude and did not even look at us so we could order. We had to speak up just to get their attention. The last night we went to Pure Ocean the nicer evening restaurant on the beach. That was great! Nice atmosphere, good waitress, live music. So happy to end our stay like that. One unexpected thing was they charged us a tax of $30.88 per day even though we were told the total paid to to the owner was the final total.

For many years now, we have been coming here every Christmas, and one of the highlights of our stay is always Sandra Mora at the towel stand. Sandra is absolutely amazing — always happy, always smiling, and so welcoming. She truly makes us feel at home every time we visit. Her kindness and positive attitude make a big difference in our experience, and we always look forward to seeing her. Thank you, Sandra, for making our holidays even more special!

​I recently returned to the Divi Phoenix after a little break while they were renovating, and I’m so glad I did. While the property looks better than ever, the real reason to stay here is the people. It’s one of those rare places where you aren't just a room number—the staff makes you feel like you’re part of the family from the second you pull up. ​The "Dream Team" The service here is stellar. A huge shout-out to Julio on the beach—he’s been here 18 years and is an absolute legend. He remembers my family every time we visit! Joel and Ariel also kept us well taken care of on the sand. ​If you need local advice, find Sandra at the towel desk. She is a total wealth of knowledge for things like where to find cheaper groceries or shops for things you forgot to pack. At the front desk, Jean-Michel was incredibly helpful when we had a minor room issue, following through until everything was 100% right. Even the maintenance team is on point—the gentleman who helped us in Room 941 (week of Dec 20th) was fantastic. He fixed two small issues immediately and even swapped out our washing machine for a brand-new one right away. ​The Property & Location The renovated rooms are clean, fresh, and modern. Having a full kitchen and on-site BBQs is a total game-changer for families. Location-wise, it’s the "sweet spot" of Aruba. You’re far enough away from the "Times Square" crowds of Palm Beach to have some peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to the action whenever you want. Even though the beaches are public, it never feels as packed here as it does at the high-rises. The value is great for what you get..
