Well the beach is a joke. We couldn't enjoy it because of all the debris. The staff was very noisy. We left a day early and they wouldn't refund my money.The locals call it Robert's Grave.

Had a fantastic time! Staff, food everything was great. Slow season so we pretty much had the resort to ourselves!

This was our first time in Belize and at Robert's Grove. I had seen the resort featured on AWE and decided to look into creating a vacation, what a wonderful decision. This is a beautiful "belizean style" resort that incorporated the local culture into everything it had to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided a very welcoming atmosphere. I was happy to find the local charm and not the look and feel of a typical modern resort. We were very pleased at the effort to go above and beyond to make sure we were able to go on excursions when the weather was not cooperating. Rescheduling, offering different options and even the property manager drove us to a site when no one else was available. The pride and dedication to provide a great experience really showed through and was greatly appreciated!

Roberts Grove Resort was a beautiful place. The rooms were very nice and clean with a great view of the ocean. The staff was wonderful specifically the front desk who accomdated all my requests both prior to and during my stay. I was specifically happy with the excursions they arranged for our family which included lunch & were all wonderful experiences. The guides were super friendly and knowledgable. We had a great stay and i would recommend Roberts Grove to everyone!

Our room overlooked the pool and beach. It may have been the time of year, but the beaches piles of seagrass always smelled, although the staff worked on it daily. It was not water I would swim in, but I am used to Florida. The hotel staff, short of housekeeping, were always pleasant, polite and accommodating. The included breakfast was very satisfying. The restaurant Habaneros was worth going to twice. Don`t skip it because it may look out of the way. Too bad there is not more than two vans a day into town, but then again, you only need to see the town once; nothing to do. The resort is nice but with the sea grass, it is not a swimming resort and the town is not worth visiting.

Robert's Grove Beach Resort was excellent in every way! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the resort itself was beautiful and clean, and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a luxurious stay in Placencia. We stayed in the village for most of our trip then we wanted a "night of luxury" for our last night before going home and Robert's Grove was definitely that!
