Loch Rannoch Hotel and Spa

Popular with tourists from abroad and with Scots - a good sign. Quiet and peaceful with excellent service. Lovely hiking and kayak experiences.

We truly enjoyed our stay but the room was very hot without aircon or a floor fan.

Just returned from a v enjoyable stay at the hotel. Food was excellent, spa facilities & treatments were great, staff friendly, beautiful location, rooms clean and spacious. Only slight issue was internet and tv signal could be slow/intermittent but I guess that’s down to the remote location! Otherwise 10/10!!

What an amazing place to stay. We were there for an anniversary weekend and had our 4 legged friend along with us. Facilities were excellent and the food amazing. Staff were very welcoming of Ivy (dog), and always looking out for her with treats and water. Plan on visiting again without Ivy so we can enjoy the spa more. I would highly recommend the Loch Rannoch Hotel and Spa for a visit. Oh and the scenery? ... Wow!

Had a very enjoyable stay staff were very friendly and helpful from reception onwards. Were given an upgrade to a Heritage room overlooking the Loch which although small was very clean and comfortable. The meals in both restraunts were very good if a little expensive but to be expected in a 4* hotel. The pool and spa facilities were very good and the wife really enjoyed her spa treatment Swedish massage. Good pool with sauna and steam room and was never to busy probably because the hotel was quiet. Overall enjoyed our stay quite expensive but great for a special occasion.

Went here a wee night away. The hotel is in a fantastic setting. We had a room overlooking the loch. We were very lucky as the weather was really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful and a big shout out to jack and Tabitha they along with the rest of the staff are a credit to the hotel. The food was excellent we had the venison chilli which was delicious and the breakfast was buffet style but you could order other items at a cost which didn't bother me as I enjoy eggs Benedict and they were very tasty. I would have liked to have been able to get a latte as I don't like morning coffee but that's my preference. The room we had was spacious and had a bath which was excellent. We didn't manage to get to the spa this time but we enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again so will try the spa when we return.

Very isolated but completely connected (best of both worlds) Hotel extremely accommodating! Hope to be back for the loch rannoch marathon in October

Beautiful property and location on the loch. Rooms are very spacious and well catered for. Food is lovely. The majority of staff are excellent. Scottish lassie was particularly nice and friendly. Visited the spa. They were extremely accommodating and enjoyed my massage. Will return.

From the minute we arrived we had such a warm welcome. Staff were so lovely - especially the reception staff. Food in the wild brownie was such a pleasant surprise: I had the gnocchi and my husband had the venison chilli and we were blown away. We had the same again on night 2. Bed was so comfortable. Gym was good. A lovely break. Breakfast was the only thing we would improve with more fruit and more staff on the weekend

Make sure you keep an eye on your belongings, during paid activity personal belongings lost when only we took part. Mark the activity person claimed not seen nor found any lost property
