Loch Rannoch Hotel and Spa

We stayed here after our incredible camping trip around the NC500 and it was the perfect way to finish our time in the highlands! Beautiful property, great food, incredibly comfy rooms and cheery staff. We're so glad we booked!

Overall the stay was great, the hotel is well done out, ideally located on the loch with incredible views and has great facilities for activities. It also has a spa which is great. The pool/steam/sauna has seen better days but everything still works fine. The service is chaotic for breakfast and dinner, which isn't great as there's nowhere else to eat nearby and you have to book everything in advance, but aside from that we had a great stay.

We had a beautiful 3 day stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel and the surroundings are stunning. There is so much to do for everyone both locally and a shordrive away. If i have to find something would be that they seem to expect you to book every meal (including breakfast) we found it unwelcome restriction as a family with small children. Other than that, the service, the food and the staff and the hotel were absolutely lovely! Would come again.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Scotland

This was a convenient stay for the day drive loop to go to Fort William and Glencoe. Some of the staff seemed grumpy. (caretaker guy was a bit rude) The food was great. The restaurant with the fishing gear hanging had an attentive, friendly staff. Everything was a tad bit overpriced in our opinion, in contrast to what we experienced on the rest of our 8 day trip.

The pool and loch were terrific. The highland charm of the hotel was appreciated - especially the tartan carpet staircase. We enjoyed the spacious room and pull out that turned into two twin beds for the kids.

A unique location, with staff and overall experience on parr and superior to some of the best destination hotels in Europe. Very versatile despite it's remote location, in that the hotel can offer an array of experiences. This is our 3rd Visit overnight, but even as a day trip it's a destination in and of itself. The perfect couples getaway, family adventure, or solo measure of peace and serenity.

Beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere

Stunning views over the loch and surrounding hills. A lovely welcome from Ann on reception. Food and service were excellent. The room was clean, the bed comfortable (a lighter duvet would have been a bonus as the room was very warm and that was with the heating off and windows open). If you fancy climbing a Munro, Schiehallion is about 15 minutes from the hotel to the car park. Can't fault it and would stay again. Thank you.

From an excellent check in and very informative we had a great time. The room we had passed all expectations. We used the facilities at the hotel and were very pleased with the swimming pool, gym and the outside areas. We ate in the hotel on all five nights there and were pleased with the selection on the menu’s and the costs were in line to what we have paid in the locality.
