Loch Rannoch Hotel and Spa

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable short break in the Loch Rannoch Hotel and would recommend it heartily to family, friends and colleagues. The views of Loch Rannoch and Schiehallion are superb.

We loved our stay here, nice country hotel, fabulous food, great room but what really made it special was the staff and their excellent service. Every staff member is friendly, helpfull and polite. A real credit to the hotel.

Had a 2 night stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it, our room was huge with a splendid ensuit. The hotel was full yet we didn't hear a peep in our room so slept very well. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing in both the wild brownie and the estate room. Will definitely return.

Our 3 night stay was good , bit of a hiccup with the t.v in the first room but the staff was amazing to sort this out & move us quite quickly. The staff are very friendly, beautiful walks into the village, lovely little place called cornerstone, also staff are lovely & welcoming.

Such a great place to get away from the crowds and noise of the busy cities and see the Highlands! If we did not stay here, we would have missed the most beautiful part of Scotland. So quiet and peaceful. The hotel is beautiful, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Really nice place to stay, accommodation was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Spa and pool was excellent and well maintained. A very scenic location away from the madding crowds. We will be back!

Quiet area but the restaurants are excellent and and the marina has activities. Also relax in the pool and spa

An absolutely beautiful and quiet location. Ample free parking. Booked a forest view room with my best friend and the room was spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. Staff couldnt be more helpful, happy and chatty, from the reception desk to the restaurant staff. The spa pool, whilst small is warm and luxurious with the added addition of steam and sauna rooms. Booked in for a facial - amazing!! Also booked a manicure - suffered a small medical emergency where another member of staff was called in and a first aider. Taken to a cooler room and recovered quickly with their support. Could not fault the attention from staff! Thankyou for an amazing 3 days, we will return!!

The team were very good and helpful - albeit apparently limited to what they could do to fulfil guest requests. The room was very comfortable and a good size for a three night stay. Bathroom was very tired and in need of maintenance. The pool and changing rooms require a complete overhaul. Food was tasty enough but certainly didn't meet our expectation of a two rosette dining experience. Scenery is stunning and the hotel is fairly remote - great for a getaway with complete peace and quiet. However, the downside is that guests only have the hotel to meet their requirements unless they wish to travel narrow roads for meal and drinks elsewhere.

The hotel itself is lovely. First impressions all good. Nice entrance, lovely room, bed comfy, staff pleasant and attentive. Food great. All went wrong with the spa. Not great to be honest. . If you are booking for a nice spa experience I wouldn’t bother. Definately better out there.
