This is our 3rd stay at the Clayton - each time in the silver suite. The first two were good. The third- was a huge disappointment. Service- lacking. We had requested a rollaway bed for our daughter. Called the week prior to our arrival to confirm. The bed was not in the room upon arrival, so we asked again prior to leaving for dinner and was assured it would be set up upon our return. 10:45pm after a long travel day, no bed. We called front desk and their response was “not sure who you spoke with but we don’t have any more”. No solution. No apology. It was a shocking response to a massive oversight. My husband ended up sleeping on the sofa so my daughter could have a bed. We did not receive any subsequent follow up from management. Disrepair- the rooms are starting to show their age and it’s clear they’re not being maintained. The tvs barely worked and the faucet in bathroom was busted and loose. Beds- Uncomfortable. Felt like a waterbed - every movement (even that of an 11yr old child) was felt. Noise- At least in the silver suite, the noise and rattle from outside the room was fairly constant. The bathroom glass and mirror are always shaking due to building vibrations. Poor sound proofing in that section of building. The Clayton used to be our first choice in Denver hotels. Between the lack of professionalism and low quality of service, coupled with the deteriorating rooms, we’ll be staying elsewhere moving forward.

Beautiful, well kept contemporary hotel in great location in Cherry Creek. Fantastic food. Fun rooftop bar and restaurant. Big, clean rooms. Highly recommend!
