Lost Iguana Resort and Spa

The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to help us have an enjoyable stay. It was a tranquil and lovely experience, I wish I could have extended my stay, I would go back in a heartbeat.

this is a gem. Every aspect of this property has been carefully curated (including their private hiking trails and hanging bridge). The owner has inspired a team of dedicated, service driven personnel that are proud of this resort and the role that they play in creating unique, memorable experiences for their guests.

This was an amazing resort with the best staff ever! Food was great, room view amazing, good hike on the property. The rain at night made for some great sleep and well as the birds and critters singing all night! I would recommend 10/10 to anyone!

Loved it so much we extended our stay! The breakfast was incredible! Excellent swim up pool bar too!

Amazing property w wonderful staff. The grounds are beautiful. The bridge trails were awesome with monkeys right there ! Room had incredible arenal view and was very spacious

The Lost Iguana Resort & Spa was amazing! The resort property is a beautiful rain forest. They have a hiking trail through the property with a hanging bridge. There are flowering plants all over the property. We had a perfect view of Arenal Volcano from our balcony. It was a truly wonderful experience to stay here. The onsite restaurant was very good. We will return to this resort again!

This property is located in the mountains of the jungle. Great for calm, quiet, and relaxing holiday. Not great if you want to meet people and socialize… everyone went to bed at 7pm. Hotel room had stunning views of the volcano. Definitely ask for a second floor room. As the resort is located on a mountain be prepared for lots of hills and stairs. They also have vans/golf carts that you can call to drive you around but we found the vans to be more cumbersome than they were worth. Wish they had more golf carts. Breakfast was good and inclusive in the rate. Sunday made to order ommlettes. The dinner was just ok and expensive… ate there twice and we weren’t thrilled. Not a lot of other options around but worth driving for other food options. The green spoon and Raul Castano on the way to la fortuna is 10/10. Hot tub was too hot and pool too cold… a bit unfortunate. Overall 4/5 stay at Lost Iguana.
