The room was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. All the staff were helpful and kind. The property has a great hiking trail, and plenty of spaces to view the wildlife.

Loved the spacious room and outdoor private shower space. Enjoyed the beautiful grounds and hiking trails. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly.

The only concern I had during my stay was that there were some issues with the flow of water from the bathroom sink. Sometimes the flow would be very minimal. The shower drain often clogged, so you would be standing ankle-deep in the shower water. Otherwise, the restaurant was great and the view of the volcano from our room was beautiful! The room was clean and staff were friendly.

We loved Lost Iguana! This is our second trip to Costa Rica and our first to the Arenal Volcano area. The hotel grounds were lovely and very close to the Hanging Bridges. We booked a full day tour (bridges, volcano, waterfall) and spent the other two days hanging out at the pool/pool bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant for most of our meals and thought it was good and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The hotel trail was also great (takes about 45 minutes). Be prepared to walk a lot of hilly terrain!

This property is gorgeous, and very tastefully designed nestled into the jungle with amazing views.
