The staff were friendly, was in walking distance to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.

The.Beds were uncomfortable you sunk into them made for a terrible sleep , only one bedside table on one side of the king bed the curtains had been what looked to be washed and hung back wrinkled . Cracks in the ceiling wardrobe doors stick when opening due to broken handle over all very tired rooms definitely not worth the money i paid for one nte . We had dinner and breakfast as well that was disappointing too.

Close to Rosehill Racecourse

The restaurant, Champs, was over priced for what it was. The menu was minimal and the steak was as tough as an old boot. The bed was too soft and combined with a soft pillow, made it hard to get to sleep. The connecting door in our room meant that I could hear the person next door on the phone.

Location is perfect for Rose Hill

Mattress was old and saggy. Food in the restaurant was not very good. The chilli prawn past was bland and a bit tasteless, the steak was well cooked (I asked for rare) but the fat had not been rendered. Highlight were the potato wedges.

We liked that we had to walk across the road to the show (very close) and that the parking was reasonably priced.Thats it

Wow.I paid $800 for a room that looked at the car park (this was apparently an ‘upgrade’)Spider webs on the windows mould in the bathroom ( I know that’s not unusual but you asked) Totally totally overpriced.The ‘Champs Restaurant’ oh my lord.My partner ordered the salmon only to be told later it was sold out (the table next to us who ordered after us was given the salmon,go figure.) He took the steak as an alternative and I wish now I’d taken a photo of the 80% of gristle he had to put back on the plate.Meanwhile my pumpkin risotto had absolutely zero taste.Only good thing was the garlic bread which was from the supermarket (I know because it’s the one I buy) All in all it was a terrible experience for us at Rydges and we definitely won’t be returning.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Traffic noise from main road below our window was hard to ignore. Maybe double/triple glazed windows would help. And after a long day at Olympic Park to return to the hotel and find the bar closed at 9.30pm was a bit of a downer.

The proximity to where I had to go was the only reason myself and colleagues stay here.

Extremely dissatisfied with the room, the aircon in the room was not working, and there was no circulation of air at all. This made everyone's stay very uncomfortable. We have stayed here for work around this time every year, but we will not be back.

The bed was comfy, the tv channels were great

Everything was clean and comfortable, just an overnight stoppover for us so no exploring was done, but we did enjoy our time.

Room was of excellent standard although the glass screen and shelf in the shower could be problematic from a safety point of view.

Restaurant facilities were limited. Access to car park could have been better signposted
