Best Western Plus Waterloo & Cedar Falls

We paid extra for the suite and we had a spacious, clean room. The breakfast area was attended by two people and everything was stocked, clean, and in working order. The attached parking also worked well. There are reserved parking spots for hotel guests near the walkway. The elevators were both in working order and were fast. During my arrival room acceptance inspection I was pleased to see that the mattresses were both encapsulated. I always tear down beds to check seams and even carpet edges for extra bonus guests. Keys were contactless. My lock flashed both green and red when it opened, which made me suspicious that it might be warning about a low battery or something similar. The only issues were the normal expected hotel problems. The sink drain was a little slower than it should have been, but you expect that at all hotels. Nobody maintains the plumbing anymore. There was a 15 minute wait to check in but it was late at night and there was only one attendant. There was a truck permanently parked in one of the two check in stalls so only one was available.

Ok but the laundry room is old and inconvenient, and parking is across the street which was inconvenient for luggage transport

WOW! This hotel is awesome! So clean and very quiet. Fantastic breakfast! Friendly staff. Super convenient to the Irish Fest. Comfortable bed and fluffy towels! 10/10
