Brookside Motor Inn

Has a patio that overlooks a river out back. Nice and peaceful.

Was very basic but work has all we need.

Nestled between the east branch of the ausable river and Lewis brook. Great location to access Keene , jay or Wilmington ny. Easy access to countless fishing and swimming spots with easy access to lake placid.

Nothing- to me this is exactly the Adirondack experience.

Unfortunately this place is filthy. We checked in and upon entering the room were hit by an odor of dirtiness and mold. The room itself was dirty and the linens appeared to have not been washed in quite some time, hair on the sheets when we pulled the filthy comforter down. There was no running water in the kitchen or one of the baths when we arrived and the staff texted us it would be turned on but my asthma was starting to kick in due to the smell and there was just no way we could stay here. There are many nice places to stay in the ADk’s, this is definitely not one of them!!

Beautiful location, huge suite but .... Needs "updating" immediately, there are some condition issues that would be unacceptable to some travellors

The space is roomy. The brook behind the inn is incredible.

Our favorite home away from home place in the ADKs. Brookside Motor Inn offers the amenities we need. We will always go back there.

Property is very old, needs many repairs

My go to hotel whenever i go to hiking in ADK.

Excellent showers and bed
