Brookside Motor Inn

Convenient location for hiking. Good water pressure. Our room was switched to one not selected. Need extra pillows the ones provided are thin. If it wasnt for the fact we do not spend much time in our rooms because we are out hiking most of the day i would rate this lower but for the price, it serves the purpose. There is a place very close for breakfast and the ice jam is a great dinner place.

This property was very outdated, and in very poor condition the rooms were very dark and depressing, and the staff was not particularly accommodating. I asked for an upstairs room was not accommodated yet when I arrived, there were several empty up there definitely not staying here again I woke up and bolted out of there at 5:30 AM.

We really appreciated the charm of the traditional setting and the neat, cozy rooms. Despite not being modern, we found the place to be very comforting.

My son loved sleeping next to the door that lead to the back by the rambling brook. He kept the door opened. It was very roomy & the living room was comfy.

The bathrooms were a bit small & the toilet was very low. It was hard to get up from it since I have bad knees.

Stayed here many times over 10 years with family. Great location for vacation to satisfy everyone's interests. (could use update in mattresses), otherwise good place to stay.

For the price of these accommodations, it exceeded my expectations. I just go to hike so I do not require much. This had 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a back patio near the brook, a full kitchen and it was less expensive than when I rented out a room in Keene Valley. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice remodeled room unfortunately it needs more than 2 pillows and air conditioner didn’t work

Needs some painting, exterior clean up, tree trimming etc. to make it more appealing. I know it takes time and a big investment and appreciate the efforts so far.
