They texted us a passcode allowing us to directly enter the room without having to check in.

Run down, old, and desperately needed updating. The floor was hollow/spongy/rotting under the linoleum in front of the sinks & bathroom. Surprisingly as run down as the room was, it did not have any odors. There was a back door in the room that led to a brook which could have been really a nice feature but was badly neglected & in need of maintenance & landscaping clean-up. No air-conditioning or hairdryer provided. The TV remote was not working so we could not control the volume (which was loud). They were adding on 2 new rooms to the motel which I don't understand when the rooms are in such poor condition. Would have left if we were staying any more than one night.

It was a pleasant experience, situated to the place i want to visit like the High Gorge Falls and ausable chasm. It has clean bed sheets and towels, bathroom clean and functioning, essentials are provided, 2 bedroom and bath for a decent price plus kitchen. The only thing is that only one room has electric fan. I would be nice if both rooms could have it, i end up using the window electric fan. Another thing i love are the 2 restaurant nearby called Adirondack mountain cafe and ice jim inn.

The place is run down and dirty! No reception! The stairs to the second floor are narrow and unsafe, the back of the hotel overlooking the creek is really dirty, neglected and ugly. Really disgusting! Bad smell in the rooms, the beds are not comfortable, no air conditioning but only fans that make noise since the Middle Ages. It was said on the booking site that this is a suite.... To call this place a suite is like calling hell - heaven.... In short, this is not a place that can be called a hotel or a motel. Looks more like a smelly prison. Tourists - don't come here! And I think what is written on the Booking website is really misleading the public! Booking company - you'd better delete this place from the list of places you offer to your customers!!! We left after a very bad experience, very angry and feel like we were cheated

I loved Brookside Motor Inn! We had a lot of space--two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small kitchen--for a super reasonable price. The decor is dated, yet I love that they use what they have instead of sending things to the trash and replacing them with newer versions. In this way, this hotel seems truly to practice sustainability. I also loved opening up the back door and seeing the creek--it is literally just steps away. I will definitely come back when I am in this area again!

Love it here

This appears to be a former standard motel style building that was converted so each room now composed of two room side-by-side. On the room we got we had two separate bedrooms, one of those with its own bathroom (there are two bathrooms in the unit), a combined kitchen and living room area. Overall the space has a cabin in the woods type feeling to it, which blends in nicely in the environment it’s in. But just forewarned it’s a little bit on the older side, so expect some rough edges and non-Modern, more utilitarian and spartan design There is also a great breakfast spot across the road and over a short bridge for your morning needs. Shower water, temperature pressure and showerhead height were all good. Wi-Fi didn’t work in one of the bedrooms, despite showing a signal. Though it did work in the rest of the unit (a great place for the kids).

Probably the biggest downside for us were the two main beds, a full and a queen were very hard. A single bed I believe it to be twin size was in the normal bed range of comfort and where I chose to sleep. The couch also has seen better days.

Uneven floor in middle of room, stubbed my toe and bled and constantly tripped on it, broke the glass I had in my hand. Only room 2B no window in front. Windowed faced the back where there was a trashed couch in the woods. Wifi with no internet connection. No cell phone service (at&t) had no way of contacting my family they were so worried.
