Brookside Motor Inn

Disgusting. Nasty bedding, Smells of cat pee, plastic over window. Ended up staying somewhere else.

It’s great, it’s not fancy at all but 3 beds, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen for that price.

Property is older and dated, but it had all we needed. It was clean and spacious. There is a beautiful brooke behind the building. It would be wonderful to have a good view. The price was good.

We loved the 2 bedroom apartment style property. Nice and quiet, beautiful area, good price compared to other properties in the proximity. Thank you.

Clean and comfortable. 2 bedroom 2 bath is a big plus. balcony is in front of a wooded area with a creek. Price is good too. Close to Lake Placid (but much less crowded) and the fall foliage along the way is very beautiful. Some suggestions: 1. Each apartment should has a hairdryer 2. We are in 5A, would feel safer if the door to the balcony has a blind or curtain as it is directly towards the bedroom. 3. Many cleaned cups and mugs, but it would be ideal to provide a few disposable ones. Overall, it was a good experience and highly recommend!

Excellent stay! Exceeded our expectations. Perfect location for easy access to Lake Placid and trails in the Keene valley. Very clean and cozy, and newly renovated kitchen was great. Owner very responsive through Expedia. The area is gorgeous in the fall and we certainly hope to return!

Perfect location and met our needs well for a 2-bedroom suite.

The bedroom with the queen bed had no windows and insufficient lighting. My partner and I left the bathroom light on and door cracked just so it wasn't pitch black in the room all night.

Loved the creek and river beside the Inn. Did have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and kitchen.

Dangerous stairs to the second floor, hole in back wall with cardboard in hole, couch does not support anyone sitting in it. Room renovations was very rough. When taking a shower water did not drain properly, no staff on site. Inn rooms very old and smelly.

Very clean room with exceptional handcrafted touches. Spacious and quiet.

Please let the owner know that when I got there the gas was left on on the gas stove.
