All was perfect

Very friendly staff from the check in to the check out. Small parking lot on the side of the Inn and plenty of safe and free street parking. Nice continental breakfast every morning (included in price). Plenty of juices, coffee, milk and pastries and a couple of egg dishes (quiche like). Enjoyed the happy hour ($2 off drinks) on their front porch that had plenty of comfortable seating and a great people watching location. Met a super nice couple from the house across the street and learned a ton about the history of the neighborhood. As an aside, they had no Luxardo cherries for the Old Fashioned on the first day of our stay, but Valerie the bartender promised she would get some for the next day and SHE DID! Great service, keeping the promise. Had dinner at the restaurant the last night of our stay and it was delicious. Nice selection of dishes and terrific service by Angela. Wouldn't mind eating there again.

Well the building was built in 1911 so one can expect some quirks. By the time of the booking, the only room available was one with 2 twin beds on the 3rd floor. Be aware that there is no elevator (it was stated clearly in the description of the Inn) so for some folks that may be a challenge. As we transitioned from second toward the third floor, there was a noticeable tilt in the stairs. The room was tight space and had a sink next to one of the beds which may not be to everyone's liking. The toilet and the shower were in a separate room but the tilt was even more noticeable there. Not much room for your luggage but it sufficed for a 2 day stay. The Inn could probably use a little cosmetic uplift outside (cracking paint, etc...).
