"We had a great family vacation. Enjoyed the pool, BBQ areas and fire pits at night. Beautiful hotel"

"Expensive Old Seaside Resort"

Resort was older than pictures on website! Dining chairs were falling apart. No Smart TV. Laundromat outside room! Noise from train/tram! Extra fees (resort, taxes, parking) $194 for 5days!! Disappointed with what I expected the resort to be!!

Carlsbad Seapoint resort did not disappoint. A great location, nice staff, and wonderful amenities. The room was clean and had everything we needed for the week. Comfortable bed, fireplace and ocean view! Short walk to the ocean.

"Ocean view"

The amazing view of the ocean and sunset was incredible. The pools and hot tubs were super great. The staff were friendly and so nice. Highly recommend a vacation at this resort.

"Good location when visiting San Diego"

Excellent location with nearby (walkable) train (free) into Carlsbad. Enjoyed the farmer's market there on Wednesdays. Beaches are nearby. 30-40 min to San Diego. Rooms are very clean. Firepits, pool available

"Top coastal resort in Southern California"

We've stayed in a dozen resorts in Southern California and this is the best run, best maintained, and most comfortable of them all. Very close to the beach and convenient to Carlsbad, Oceanside, and San Diego.

We had a little misunderstanding with our booking and the staff made it right for us within a half hour of our arrival. Thank you Michael! We love the location, how quiet and secluded it is, the views/sunsets, the adult only pool (though there is a full size family pool too), that some activities are offered, beach access! We will be back :)
