The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver

Huge room, really good food and drinks at H2, very friendly bellmen and front desk. We arrived here around 1am and the front desk insisted that only "management" could use the bell carts and would help with our bags. I was annoyed thinking it would take 10 mins for management to arrive but he arrived promptly, helped us load our bags and take them to our room with a cheery attitude, despite the time. We went during Easter and they had live bunnies to pet and an Easter Bunny to take photos with the kids. Had a cute photo op spot that anyone could use for pictures throughout our trip, as well as complimentary bicycles you could use for 2 hours to ride around Stanley Park. They are first come first serve so we missed out but there is a very very reasonable bicycle rental shop within a 2 min walk from the hotel. The location is superb; within minutes you are in Stanley Park and it's a 20 min walk along the water to Canada Place as well as to plenty of food and drink. We unfortunately didn't have a chance to try the pool but saw people in there all day enjoying it. There is also an indoor pool/hot tub. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights in a king room in the tower. We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel at 9 am but was not able to check in until 4:10. The process was not pleasant and the front desk did not give us any drink coupons or anything while we waited. The front desk staff were not helpful during the checkin process and lacked customer service. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great view of the marina.

Such a lovely stay! This hotel is so perfectly located on the water, with walkability to so much to see and do in the city. Take advantage of the immediate access to walking/running paths that take you along the water and through Stanley Park. You can also walk to the seaplane terminal and do a quick seaplane tour of the area which is SO worth it! The rooms are spacious and have the awesome Westin touches like the heavenly bed/shower/etc. The property was exceptionally clean and well kept, and the staff were just fantastic. Thomas at the front desk was warm and professional, giving recommendations for activities while we were visiting for a quick weekend. We will certainly be back!

Abbiamo prenotato questo appartamento un giorno prima. Purtroppo al nostro arrivo ci hanno informato che purtroppo non è disponibile e ci hanno offerto un altro. Eravamo in viaggio senza possibilità di connettersi ad Internet e cercare qualcosa altro e allora abbiamo accettato. Era molto pulito.

1. Soltanto un paio di chiavi. È molto scomodo se siamo in quattro. Sopratutto se la chiave serve anche per salire sul ascensore. Il portiere ha negato diverse volte di aprire il portone, quindi per accedere al appartamento si doveva chiamare al telefono e far scendere qualcuno di noi dal 13-imo piano al piano terra per aprire il portone. 2. Materasso in camera piccola era sfondato perché mancavano le doghe. Era posizionato soltanto su tre traverse. 3. Il tavolo del soggiorno aveva soltanto tre sedie. Siamo in quattro, quindi per mangiare si faceva il turno. 4. La doccia nel bagno con la vasca non funzionava. 5. Nelle camere da letto mancavano i piani d’appoggio per i vestiti, cellulari ecc.
