Hotel Rossija

It’s conveniently located next to a brothel, and I hope you like bed bugs

They didn't even reply to me email despite being asked by the staff to do so when I contacted them by phone. What a horrible experience.

For the price it was a good room at a hotel that's located very centrally. I needed to get to the train station quickly in the morning, for that it was perfect. The hotel has a huge gate protecting it, which was reassuring. My room faced the backyard so it wasn't as noisy as it could have been, I was able to sleep alright

The area is extremely dodgy, stripclubs, homeless people and drug addicts everywhere, police are called at seemingly all hours of the day. Not for solo female travellers really

The two rotational staff at the receiption. One in the morning and the other in the evening. They were nice and spoke well.

So many drug addicts and junkies in the area. Hotel room smell badly. Combination of cigarette and some bad chemical. When I checked in, the bedsheets and the duvet were stained with( I believe the druggies are allowed to book into the rooms), because I saw several of them coming in and out. Loud noises and banging of doors and things all night. Blood and fuid stains on walls and ceiling. ...and oh, talk of flat screen tv, but it doesn't work.

OMG. That's what we thought when we drove up to this hotel. Our taxi driver acted strange when we gave him the address at the airport, and we found out why. People laying in the streets high, sex shops everywhere, trash. We knew that we couldn't stay there and began a search in the area for another hotel, which we found. I don't understand how a hotel can think tourists would be comfortable with staying here. I am trying to get a refund, but I won't hold out on that happening.
