Capitán Suizo Beachfront Boutique Hotel

We stayed in a beachfront Bungalow which had views of the beach and ocean. We found the room spacious, accommodating, clean and functional. One key feature you get when staying in a beachfront bungalow is the private outdoor shower. Great for rinsing off after the beach, or taking a shower to get ready for the night. It has hot water and all the soaps, shampoo and conditioner you need already outside. I never used the indoor shower once. Highly recommend this Bungalow

Exceptional boutique hotel on a tranquil part of 5e beach.

This hotel is exceptional! When we arrived my husband was having an issue with some back pain. The hotel arranged for a Dr. to come to the hotel and help deal with the issue. They did this

Friendly and helpful staff in a tranquil locale, with a lovely spa and an impressive breakfast buffet. Only a few minutes walk to the center of town, but a world away.

Property grounds were beautiful, the staff was extremely nice and helpful and the rooms very nice. Location is about 1/2 mile from downtown so a little bit of a walk along the beach but who doesn't want another walk along the beach in Tamarindo. The wildlife was very interesting. Highly recommended.

This place is right on the water, staff are excellent and very attentive. We had an issue with a skunk getting stuck in the roof and they got us a new room right away. They seemed pretty shocked so it definitely doesn’t happen often. Everything was so close to the hotel but far enough away to avoid the bustling crowds when you want it. Staff are constantly cleaning this place like all day long. They take great pride in it. We really enjoyed the outdoor showers, the many beach chairs and tables shade if you want. Pleasant and talkative staff when you want it. Everyone seems happy. The bed was soo comfortable. We had AC in room but didn’t always use it. Loved the grounds they are beyond perfect. We saw iguanas and squirrels monkeys and coatis and lots of geckos. The resident cats and neighbors dog made me feel right at home.

This is a true beach front property. On a less crowed part of Tamarindo Beach. They pay attention to every detail.

For a boutique hotel the service, bar, and food was excellent. It’s at the end of the beach so it more private but very walkable to any restaurant along the beach. Friendly staff,and our stay was great. Only downside is there is no tv in rooms. If that’s a factor for you.
