Very clean

Extremely short staffed especially for a holiday weekend. One person working front desk. Wasn’t there when we walked in during the day because she was somewhere else helping another customer. They should expect to be busier on a holiday weekend and plan accordingly.

I would have gave a 10 out of 10 but the toilet in our rm sat way to low and for someone with back issues it made it very challengeing to use the toilet when needed other than the toilet being to low our stay was perfect. The staff was very friendly.

The stay was great, had everything we needed.

There was a family next to us and the children were running around. No Continental breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at La Serena Inn overall. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the local area, which we really appreciated. The room itself was great, and the location was excellent for exploring Morro Bay.

The main disappointment was that breakfast, which had been included when we booked, was removed prior to our stay. To their credit, the hotel did let us know in advance, but there was no reduction in the room rate. The only alternatives offered were early check-in or late check-out, which unfortunately were not useful for our travel plans. On arrival, we were told that certain nearby restaurants offered discounts of up to 20%, but it was still frustrating to have to go out and arrange breakfast ourselves rather than being able to eat quickly and get back on the road.
