Lovely staff and very attentive

Room was hot bc AC was Broken Bed frame was too big for tiny room which caused you to have to turn side ways to get between bed and standing shelf furniture Door leading to second floor balcony had too small shade which allowed large amount of light into the tiny room. This prevented the room to become dark at night

We stayed at your hotel six years ago and had a positive experience back then, paying around $190 per night. Based on that, we decided to return – but this time, we paid well over $310 per night and were shocked by the massive decline in quality. The room was poorly maintained and far from what one would expect at this price point. Even worse, the service was indifferent and unhelpful. What I find truly unacceptable is the false advertising: your listing clearly stated that the restaurant and bar were open. In reality, both were closed without any prior notice – which significantly affected our stay. For a rate exceeding $310 per night, we expected a premium experience. Instead, we got a closed restaurant, no bar, low-quality facilities, and poor service. We feel taken advantage of and will be forwarding this complaint to Booking.com. In addition, we will leave honest reviews on all relevant platforms to warn other travelers. We expect an official response to this complaint. Sincerely,

Very cool old hotel.

All staff members were very welcoming, helpful and super nice

Great place to stay excellent staff and hotel.

While the aesthetic and ambiance behind the hotel was nice to see and experience I couldn’t help but be disappointed. A beautiful hotel I was excited to have a good rest at Groveland before our trip to Yosemite, unfortunately my Adobe suite bedroom for the night was an unpleasant experience. The room was very warm and while I tried to text staff they couldn’t really help as it was after hours. For some reason the AC would not turn on. The staff next morning stated a portable cooler but that also was not working that night as the water attached to it was melted. I was very sad and wanted to enjoy. If staff ever want to contact for a refund or discount I would be happy to change my review. Staff were nice however for what I paid I did not enjoy my stay.
