The Groveland Hotel

Le style d'époque de cet ancien hôtel. Le parking gratuit à proximité.

Le rapport qualité-prix (372 euros pour deux nuits) est très mauvais, même à proximité de Yosemite où l'hôtellerie est chère (45 min de route tout de même). En effet : - Nous n'avons vu personne à la réception en deux jours. Un gardien de nuit nous a accueilli à 22h le premier soir. - A ce prix il n'y avait pas de petit déjeuner, nous le savions mais nous pensions que les prestations allaient compenser cela. Ce qui fut une erreur - Notre chambre donnait sur le côté de l'hôtel, juste au-dessus des équipements extérieurs de la climatisation de l'hôtel (très bruyant) et face aux poubelles ou aucun effort n'est fait pour les cacher (nous avons été réveillés le premier matin par le camion poubelle) - La propreté est moyenne alors qu'aux États-Unis c'est en général très propre - Le sol de salle de bain était incliné - La literie était très/trop molle - Le fauteuil et la moquette de la chambre étaient tachées - La terrasse qui normalement devrait donner du charme à l'hôtel était toujours éteinte de nuit. Nous ne pouvions donc pas en profiter - Chambre petite pour le prix - Pas de prise électrique à proximité du lit sans déconnecter les lampes ou déplacer les tables de chevet - Il n'était pas possible d'éteindre la climatisation

The hotel was very misleading with saying completely remolded. It was very dated. There is no sound prooofing so you could hear everything going on inside the motel. We had the family suite and there were not truly 2 rooms. No door for privacy. The patio guests were up until 1:30am in the morning and we could hear ever word they said and every laugh. No sleep for us at all. When ever someone would go up and down the stairs it would creak. You could hear the neighbors coughing in their rooms. When someone’s toilet would flush etc. The hall light shined under the doorframes because the doors are so old. The carpet was so old and dirty, it had an oil on it and was gross to walk on bare foot. When we checked in there was no staff. We had to wait 45mins as the front desk staff was cleaning the rooms. We also didn’t get our breakfast that came with the room, as their kitchen cook quit. Last but not least we woke up in the am to bug bites on our hands and arms.

We were on a 10 night vacation and only stayed here one night. It was the best of them all! Such a great hotel with so much history and the town was whimsical! The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was convenient and many dining options nearby!

The other guests were quite noisy till late at night. In fairness, it was a holiday weekend & the hotel has an attached bar/restaurant.

Ottima posizione, servizi e staff. Comfort ottimo, ma non eccezionale a causa del fatto che si tratta di un edificio storico. Comunque lo charme vale sicuramente la rinuncia a qualche plus

Considerando la natura storica dell'edificio, non ritengo ci sia nulla da migliorare
