Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

All inclusive was excellent.

Requested a partial ocean view. Ed were on the 2nd floor and looked out to a wall. If you looked up you could see the sky. Also setting reservations up I requested, as you do for most reservations, one room. Found out when we arrived it was for one person . We paid over more than double of what we thought we were going to pay. Very upset with booking.com.

My wife and I returned from Aruba last week. We stayed at the RIU Palace on Palm Beach. Excellent location right on the beach with a large pool. This is an all inclusive resort and food was very good with a large selection. We ate at two speciality restaurants (Krystal a gourmet restaurant and Milano an Italian restaurant). Both were very good. We stayed in the main building on the 9th floor with a beautiful Ocean View. Room was recently renovated as most of the rooms have been. The pool is huge with a swim up bar and drinks are plentiful. You need to save a place at the pool around 7 am to be sure to get a good location at the pool. Staff was very friendly, especially the restaurant staff. We found the resort to be very clean with staff constantly cleaning. Beach is very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. I would recommend this resort for couples, singles and families. I would like to express my thanks and assistance to Santana at the front desk for his hospitality. We would definitely stay at this resort again. However, I was informed the resort is going to be closed for about six months this year to complete their renovations.

The food and drinks were pretty good. Riu Palace Aruba and Antillas has a buffet style restaurant for breakfast lunch dinner that has lot of options (less for vegetarians). The dine in restaurant Milano queue is long and you have to line up 45min before 6pm for first come first serve.

Krystal and Sayuri are not that great for dine in. Internet wifi very patchy and there was a day where for 2hours I had to keep chasing staff to fix internet, phone and other issues in my room. Reception desk staff not very cordial. Made me wait 10mins beyond check in time without apology.

Nos encantó la atención, amabilidad , limpieza , buena onda de todos meseros, cocineros ,limpieza del hotel, de todos los q trabajan en hotel , la verdad no tenemos nada malo x decir . Nos sentimos muy cómodos.

Classic bait and switch!! I will not be returning and advise you to stay away too. I expected a room similar to the one shown on the website as I had stayed here once before. I am in treatment for breast cancer and needed a warm weather getaway. What I got was a dirty ground level room with a patio facing a driveway and an another building. I will be moving to a different room but remain deeply upset and disappointed by this experience.
