Suites Roc Portonova

The property is very dated and not maintained very well. The apartments have so many problems, wouldn’t know where to start. The pictures are misleading nothing is new. The kitchen is a disgrace, dirty, no cleaning material, no towels, no coffee maker, warped Potts and pans. The Floor tile is cracked in all rooms, closet and cabinet doors don’t close as they are warped, musky old stale smell in the entire building. I would not pay more than 10 bucks a Night, this Place is a complete rip off at 65 euros a night. I can not find a single good thing to say about this property. We had booked 8 nights and only stayed the first and the last night as it was too disgusting to be in that place . Complete waste of money.

Perfect location. Pool was great and a few mins from the beach. 5 mins walk from restaurants and bars. Kids spent most of the time in the pool. Pool and Pool bar open as usual. I have no complaints, the apartment was in need of decoration and updating, however it was clean. Locks very flimsy on patio doors, but as i had the safe - it was not a huge concern.

My booking on expedia said i was getting a 2 bedroomed apartment for 6 people for our family of 4. We arrived and was given a 1 bed apartment, i complained and was given a 2 bedroomed apartment with only 3 beds. I was very embarrassed to complain again but was finally given a 2 bedroomed apartment with 4 beds. So we could all have a bed to sleep in but these are the things that make it such a horrible place to stay: 1. The room smells terrible - like cigarette smoke and bleach 2. The curtains have burn holes in them 3. The blankets have burn holes in them 4. The towels are hard, stained with brown marks and have holes in 5. Many of the floor tiles throughout the apartment are cracked 6. The bathroom sink is cracked in multiple places 7. The view out of all windows is of walls which is so sad as we are right on the beach 8. The pans are misshapen which means they don’t work on the electric hob 9. I can’t open the balcony door without a great deal of force and grating noise and it doesn’t close properly 10. None of the internal doors fit their spaces so drag along the floor and can’t be opened or closed properly 11. There are no bedside lights so you either have big harsh main lights or darkness 12. There are ants everywhere..in the kitchen, on the dining table, the beds, all over the bathroom. 13. The airtex ceiling is broken and black in many places 14. The microwave is all cracked and filthy 15. The swimming pool changing room had poo on the floor

Very friendly staff. Helpful and knowledgeable on tours and where to go and how to get to places. Booked us tours too. Place was excellent value for money. Couldn’t have been closer to the beach front, shops, restaurants and public transport links.

We found it very grubby and run down. The rooms were in very poor condition overall with mould and very poor finishings and cleanliness. The noise levels in the hotel was really bad but probably due to the large gaps at all door, including the balcony sliding door which allowed the army of ants to engulf the room on a regular basis. Overall very poor and essential ruined our holiday in Palmanova.

Great location and big apartment, but it was super old (to the point it was hard to close the bathroom door). It was dirty and had other people's hair everywhere. Everything is charged extra and we had to buy even the soap for the dishes (wouldn't hurt to provide this to the guests).

Very accommodating, friendly helpful. Will go the extra mile for comfort and to please guests at no extra cost l. I.e they upgraded our room no extra cost. As a loyal guest room after checkout due to an issue we had they allowed us to keep another room free of charge until it was convenient for us.

The smell in the room was horrible. The electricity kept going out and the front desk staff weren’t the friendliest.

The location is excellent, just the width of the quiet road from the marina and beach. the pool was fine and there were always plenty of free loungers. The rooms/kitchen were well equipped with plenty of towels, microwave, toaster etc The guy on reception when we arrived was excellent. Overall great value for money.

Cheap and cheerful. Great location opposite fantastic beach. Apartments very basic and in desperate need of modernisation. Very faded. However, we still had a great holiday!
