Great views,fantastic rooms!

What a beautiful ocean view from this charming B&B. The inn is quiet, space nicely decorated with old world charm, beds are comfortable, firm with just enough cushion. Breakfast is made to order which makes it hot and delicious. Easy access to Rockport pier and restaurants.

Coffee was dreadful and room disappointing

This was our 14th year at the Yankee Clipper - all but one of those years in the same room (Flying Cloud). And it won't be our last. It truly has become a "home away from home". Mike, Peter, Casandra and the rest of the staff have become real friends. (this year, my wife pitched in to help Casandra with her gardening!!!). What do we do when we're there? OK, eat too much fried fish and lobsters, (and Peter's great omlets) wander about Cape Ann and Gloucester and Essex and Ipswitch - but mostly we sit on the enclosed porch, look at the lobster boats on the water (they are out every morning) and read. And read some more. And watch the green-flashing light of the Straightsmouth lighthouse come on at dark (all the lighthouse on Cape Ann are ACTIVE, each with their own unique light color and flashing pattern). Even the occasionally rainy day is welcome - just another excuse to do nothing! The Yankee Clipper is easily the most restful and friendly - not to mention one of the most beautiful - places we've ever been. Its one of the very few places where we actually "take a vacation". Thank you Mike and crew.

The accommodations were very nice and the views of the ocean and bay were unbelievable. We spent hours just enjoying the beautiful view. Very relaxing and comfortable. The staff were incredible!

The Yankee Clipper Inn is a stellar property! Beautiful rooms, astonishing views, great breakfast, lovely staff. Everything was top notch - sparkling rooms, lovely linens, friendly staff, attention to detail. Highly recommend a trip here!

L'emplacement est tout juste incroyable. L'ambiance dans cet hôtel est très agréable, c'est une parenthèse dans le temps sur les traces d'illustrer pensionnaires. Meilleures pancakes de ma vie 🤣
