Chapter House

The property was absolutely stunning. We also had a problem with the shower and having hot water and they immediately accommodated us by putting us in the main house. Wonderful stay!

Expensive for what you got. They don’t serve breakfast anymore. It was okay but priced too high.

Outdoor seating patio was beautiful but it was raining.

Bar was closed

Very old hotel/inn .. limited conveniences. Areas that were neglected, including the driveway and the lower level. The air conditioning unit in the window had mold in it. The bathroom had a faucet from the 1970s and an acrylic tub enclosure. I expected more.

What a great place. Beautifully maintained home and gardens. The gardens are amazing. Nice and quiet with all of the amenities. Also has a well stocked bar. If I had one concern its that it is right on 6A, the main road with really fast moving cars. That didnt stop us from walking down to a few restaurants and a great coffee shop. Also found more restaurants within a few minutes drive.

We booked this Inn based on the description and reviews on the website and Booking.com. We were not impressed to say the least. It is advertised as a "Luxury Inn" with "updated bar" and superior accommodations. All of the reviews mentioned breakfast so we assumed this was a Bed and Breakfast Inn. We were very disappointed to learn as we checked in that they don't serve breakfast. And the bar is closed because they don't have a bartender. The "superior accommodations in the carriage house were okay, but cramped. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn't talk over it and there was no usable mirror. We paid a premium for a Bed and Breakfast experience and what we got was a room with a bed and a bathroom, nothing more. To be fair, I communicated with the owner who assured me that they strive to be transparent and always let their guests know in the confirmation e-mall (that no one ever reads) about the lack of breakfast. I would not recommend or return to the Chapter House.
