"Refund now!"

4.0

There was no breakfast offered. The Inn discontinued it a year ago. I booked because your site stated that breakfast was offered. refund please!

Not as advertised to include breakfast. Rooms too small. No seating in the rooms.

"Impressive house but did not live up to our expectations."

7.0

Comfortable bed, beautiful decking and garden. Nice old house.

Noisy road, a couple of items in the room were damaged, no facilities to make tea, complicated coffee machine without instructions and towels not changed daily (and no notice to tell us this). Pricey for what it was.

"Lovely and charming."

Charming historic house in a wonderful location. The host, Jim, was kind and lovely. He gave us a recommendation for the best lobster roll we ever had. Thank you!

"Hard to sleep with Air Conditioning"

4.0

The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean when we arrived. The outside seating area was lovely and well maintained .

We had 2 rooms in the coach house. One was at the front with bunk beds. We found this room to be small and very dark with only one small window, half of which was taken up with a very, very noisy air conditioner. It was very hard to sleep with air conditioning on but it was too stuffy not to keep it on so we did not get much sleep for our four night stay. The bunk beds were never made up during our stay .

"Bad"

1.0

We booked through BOOKING.COM it was a HUGE mistake. The room was a closet with a bed, and one windiw that would not open (had AC unit). Claustrophobic, to say the least. The manager would not accommodate elsewhere and was rude, and we left asking for a refund, with disgusting BOOKING.COM keeping the money!!! I will NEVER use BOOKING again. I will speak truth to the negative way in which BOOKING.COM OPERATES! DON'T stay here if you don't want to deal with a manager that isn't experienced in 4 star accommodations and better customer service attitude.

The room was tiny, the size of the bed!. The manager has no customer service experience, and was rude. To top off the tiny room, the entry door handle jammed, and we waited 3 hours for it to be fixed!

"Fabulous base to visit the Cape"

10.0

I spent hours researching places to stay in Cape Cod and when we arrived at Chapter House it was everything I had hoped for. We stayed in the main house - our room was lovely with a gorgeous renovated bathroom. We were met by Jim who provided us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home. Unfortunately the weather did not behave for us and other than our first night we couldn’t use the gorgeous outdoor area. When we arrived only 3 rooms were occupied but by the last night the Inn was full and had a wonderful vibe fuelled by the lovely bar. Yarmouth Port is lovely, don’t miss the bakery which serves the best pastries. The location was great to explore the Cape. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here.
