The people were wonderful, accommodating, and just plain nice. I would recommend some kind of anti slip item for the shower as it is very smooth and slick. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

No breakfast. Over priced. Air conditioner was super loud. No usable mirror in the room.

Nice room with tasteful decor, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Hotel itself is in a historic building, which has a charming and intimate feel to it.

Windows do not open, room is smaller than looks in pictures, bathroom door didn't fully shut. Also, it would've been nice to have a couple of plates in the room. The windows have very basic blinds on them, so it gets light in the room very early in the morning. There were eye masks in the room, but I don't like wearing them personally. Heavier curtains on windows would've worked.

The location was perfect for where we planned to visit. We were looking forward to relaxing outside but the weather did not cooperate. Our room was fine - small but had what we needed. When I booked I did not realize that our first floor room was adjacent to the fire pit leaving a feeling of little privacy when people were outside, which unfortunately was after midnight when the rain stopped. The other guests were quite loud in the hallways both nights more the second night. Reading the TripAdvisor description was somewhat misleading. There is NO breakfast or welcome cocktail. We were told there was coffee but we did not see it. The inside space looked comfortable but we did not use it. Overall ok - not sure if I would stay again - for the same money we could have stayed somewhere with a little more privacy and breakfast.

You couldn’t ask for a friendlier and hospitable atmosphere. Jim, the manager, is awesome! The bar is quaint and the bartender makes the best drinks ever. The location, write on 6A is great. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. If you’re looking for a no frills getaway, The Chapter House is the place for you!
