Small room over the pub. Very loud road noise. Floor slanted and sides of bed collapse due to so many people having to sit on the bed because there is only one chair. Overall, clean and safe but I would try someplace else if I were to come to Inverness again.

Check in and out person was fine. She was not aware of the room condition of the "Castle" #3. it was musty and mold infested in the bathroom, my wife has been sick all day. We walked in the room originally to a strong air freshener in the room plugged in. The bathroom door was closed, when I opened the door, this rush of damp mustiness perforated the room. Cleaning staff had to be aware of this. We opened the windows, but with a view of concrete this did not help. We have stayed in 8 hotels this "holiday" and this was by far the worst hotel. We left 12 hours ago and my wife is still suffering. Management had to be aware of this room condition, if not they do not check rooms, as this does not happen overnight.

LOVED this place! We were just passing through for one night, but we wanted to stay longer because it was amazing. Easy check-in, amazing staff, and the bathroom was a dream come true. Can't beat a walk-in shower and giant claw tub! Thank you for being the best hotel on our honeymoon.

Staff very helpful and friendly, even helped carry luggage up the flights of stairs. They gave us their personal cell numbers in case assistance was needed after hours. Location is very central. Wonderful stay.

Charming outside inn qualities with updated inn halls and rooms with modern room decor and bathroom.

We enjoyed the accommodations but still getting used to no AC but fans work Lunch was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful

Black Friars was a great stay. Very clean. Centrally located. Easy to get to and easy to find parking

Comfortable place and a great location in central Inverness. Blocks from the train station and the bus station--very convenient.
