Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City

Affordable, fun, lots to do and good food.

Lots to do for everyone, staff was genuinely friendly.

The experience is nice and the facilities are well-kept. We were truly disappointed with the cost of everything, though. ANYTHING extra is so expensive. Want to do the adventure? $25 (we have three kids, so $75 min). Want to go to the arcade? $50 to make it worth it. Want to mini bowl? $24 for 6, $4/additional player. Snacks and food on the property are also higher in cost, so the best bet is to go across the road to the grocery store or to any of the local restaurants. It would be smart for the property to just do big buffet breakfasts, especially with kids being the main guests. Throw some pancakes, eggs, and sausage in buffet tins and hot coffee with creamers and you've just hit made everyone's stay. The coffee in the room-- not good. How crazy that parents are going non-stop for 2 days and the coffee is watery?! We added two pre-filled packets to each brew and it still was not enough. Is the propety fun? Yes. Our kids had fun. The waterpark kept all kids happy. Is it convenient? Yes. It is right by everything the Traverse City area has to offer. Worth it once? Maybe, as long as you get the coupon/Groupon!

Great room! Comfortable beds. Great park! Great restaurants

I had two rooms for my family (adult kids and grandkids). There is something to do for everyone and the grandkids ranging in age from 6 to 16 all had fun. The rooms are clean and bed is comfy, the pull out sofa bed, not so much. Great family mini vaca.

It was a great experience.

Too much walking. I suggested to one of the supervisors, Nick Rockicki, that golf carts inside would be a smashing idea. Alot of senior citizens bring their children and grandchildren to your wonderful establishment, it would be a Postive step in showing you care about their restrictions as well. Thanks for a great weekend.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You have to pay to park even if youre staying at the hotel which i found odd, but it was $15 a day. Many food and activity options available in the hotel. They werent great at advertising though because i didnt even know there was a ropes course until we got home and i had to call them. Kids loved the kid room with 3 beds and everyone loved the water park of coarse. 4 out of 5 of us left pretty scraped up from the pool bottom. Overall great stay and we will be back.

Overall hotel is good. Although they charged me 2 times for parking and told me to go take it up with my bank. So customer service lacks a bit, I even sent them credit card statement as proof. Shows two separate tranasaction ID.
