location and the staff was very friendly and helpful

need pillows with substance. didn't realize the shower would be so difficult to maneuver. abillity to have hot beverage in room would be nice.

Upon arrival Angela greeted us, she was outstanding and the only part of our stay that was enjoyable. Our room was plain, old furnishings, small with no room for luggage, a window a/c ran off and on our first night waking us. The next morning I read they set it on Econ but suggested we change it if it is annoying. The bed mattress was worn out with dips in both sides, I woke each morning of our 4 night stay with back aches. The bathroom had absolutely no space for toiletries, no shelving or counter space. The toilet was a safety hazard having been built up on a raised floor between two walls less than two and half feet wide; it was dangerous in trying to choose how to use it especially during the night. The shower was very small , but though they indicated it could take upwards of eight minutes for hot water, we did not have to wait long. They do not serve breakfast but do offer dinner, this was disappointing when no amenities were offered in room like water, coffee maker, or refrigerator . The tv on the wall was small, off brand, with a poor picture. We arrived on Sunday only to learn everything in Kennebunk was closed… this was also true on Monday. We did find a cafe up the street and had a breakfast sandwich followed by an Uber into Kennebunkport where we found everything open and people everywhere. We will not stay in Kennebunk again but choose accommodations in Kennebunkport. As for Kennebunk Inn, it is old and quaint, Angela is a great greeter and willing to help, but we won’t stay there again. They gave us this inferior room on third floor, no elevator, it was difficult for us scaling the stairs each day being in our mid seventies. It is not worth the price… we could have stayed at Holiday Inn at a more reasonable price with more room and a lot more amenities.
