Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells

Great location for the resort, very close to many restaurants and gas stations. However, even from our last visit just 2 years ago the resort has taken a huge decline. The toddler splash areas were disgusting and completely unacceptable. Most of the water features were broken and didn’t work. I was honestly nervous for the kids to even play in some areas it was that dirty. Tables to eat at were always filthy and floors needed a good cleaning. Our room looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed and beds were completely sunken in. We also noticed many of the employees were very grumpy and not very friendly. Also upon check in nobody made us aware of a $100 incidental hold on our card until we noticed ourselves. That is something that should be acknowledged during check in.

A lil rough when checking in to my condo. The original condo room was locked from the inside by the neighbors in the next room. The great wolf team couldn't get ahold of the family to unlock the door. It was very frustrating aa I had 2 toddlers and luggage with me. I had to gather the toddlers and luggage to go back to check in to get another condo. The front desk was very helpful with getting me in to a differnt condo .

Great Wolf Lodge is great for younger kids. Especially if you plan on going during off seasons. My only complaint would be their cleanliness of rooms. Our carpets had crumbs everywhere and there were also crumbs and random small garbage in the pull out couch. We just randomly decided to open the pull out couch and immediately put it back due to the garbage present.

We have been coming to GW in the Dells for over a decade. I like the size of the park for smaller kiddos. This is probably the last year they will be small enough to enjoy a lot of the lodge’s activities (great for under 10 y/o).. not too crowded on the Thursday - Friday that we stayed. Only 3 stars due to a few factors 1) room was not thoroughly cleaned - hair on the duvet and bathroom floor was gross when we arrived; 2) check in was frustrating due to poor customer service and add in charges that are new since our most recent stay ($20 per night parking; $20/day for additional guests not swimming, even if not entering the waterpark, etc.). Still a decent value, I just don’t like all of the ‘nickel and dining’ that they’ve started since previous stays.

Every thing was great we really loved the children first atmosphere the wolf wake up was amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful the only downside of the entire experience was haveing to pay for parking the only resort I’ve ever seen like that

The room was clean how ever the hallways and elevators were hard for the staff to keep up on. It was disappointing the pool closed at 8pm and didn’t open again until 10 am. When paying that much you really want to spend as much time in the water park as possible. The lay out of the pool are is unusual, it is sectioned off into three sections which makes it feel closed off and small. Only the three restaurants options and the “formal” dining option menu is very limited.

While on vacation in the dells we purchased a day pass. This is the third great wolf lodge we have visited. Water area was clean, bathrooms were clean. However the only food option inside the water area was very slow and our food was cold. Food prices were okay, adult beverages were way over priced. During check in I was told by an employee to step to his side for a faster check in, I then watched 6 people behind me get checked in while I waited. Service at check in was very slow. Overall we were unimpressed and prefer the Chicago or traverse city locations.

Was a smooth check-in and we were able to get into our room earlier than expected(absolutely grateful for that after a 5 1/2 hour drive). Our kids were so entertained and excited for all the activities. Room was very nice and perfect for us with a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old that we put in a crib. Overall an amazing stay!

I have had such a great experience with my three children: my sons are ages 6 and 10 years of age and my tween daughter love it! The kids friendly slides and attractions along with the food were great. Friendly staff made us feel welcomed. I will say paying for parking twice was inconvenient despite extending my stay another night. Overall, the magi quest, arcade and mining was so much fun. My boys are into nature and enjoyed this activity. Can’t wait for our summer visit!

My daughter and her friends had a very good time, our room was perfect especially having the private area for themselves
