Location for a family wedding was very good

Old decor, smelt horrid, uncomfortable bed,carpets filthy shower leaks cold water tap on bath not working plug in sink did not fit mattress very uncomfortable all you can feel is the springs reading light switch not working main light flashing as you walk in air con not working fire door left open all night. This was appalling used this hotel for over 40 years now looks and is an absolute shambles.

To begin with, the address provided in your check-in message differed from the address listed on Booking.com. As I was travelling alone with two children and relying on satellite navigation, this caused significant stress and inconvenience as it directed us to the wrong location. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was extremely concerned by the overall condition of the property. The corridors and communal areas had a strong unpleasant smell, carpets were dirty, and many window blinds throughout the building were broken. The hotel appeared very run down and poorly maintained. When we entered the room, the balcony door had been left open behind a closed curtain. The balcony itself was dirty and contained broken children’s toys and cigarette ends. The balcony door was also extremely difficult to close properly, which caused me considerable unease regarding safety and security, particularly as I was alone with my children. There were numerous additional issues within the room, including: •The wardrobe contained no usable hangers, only broken ones thrown on top. •The bathroom window had no handles and appeared to not be able to be opened, however, was wide open when we woke up which made us feel incredibly unsafe. •The shower head was loose and had no holder or stand. •The shower temperature could not be adjusted correctly, and the control handle repeatedly fell off when attempting to use it. •The bath was damaged and contained visible black mould. •There was no hand soap provided by the sink, only an old soap dispenser filled with water. •The toilet seat was dented and stained. •The bathroom floor tiles were dangerously sharp, resulting in my son cutting and splitting his toe. •The bathroom light fitting was filthy and full of dust and dead insects. •The bathroom radiator was dangerously hot with no warning sign displayed, resulting in my daughter burning her hand.

Morning I had my room changed three times they all were disgusting

Everything was out of date broken locks and walls. The beds all had mould and the showers were all filthy
