Excellent hotel friendly and helpful staff Location is ok 10 min walk to lovely beach but you really need a car as it is a bit out of the way. It was superb value for money with excellent breakfasts and a very good room/ apartment. Evening meals were also reasonable with friendly attentative staff but meals could be a while arriving. We had a lovely restful break.
Young couple who are very familiar with the area having spent every year in summer here, first time to Formosa hotel and have to say this is an an louts gem of a hotel!! The breakfast was brilliant and pool was sunny all day and quiet all day always had beds free no pool bed games!! Stunning location and stunning hotel!! Loved our stay!

We loved this hotel. We booked for a 1 bedroom apt but got upgraded to a 2 bedroom. The apt was huge and very clean. The restaurant's food was good and breakfast was amazing. The closet supermarket was about a 12 euro taxi ride away. The only downfall was being so far away from things. We would gladly stay here again though. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel worked very well for my family. The apartment style family room provided plenty of space for us to not be tripping over ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool looked inviting (too cold this time of year) and the beach was a reasonable walk down a nature trail. The children loved walking down to the beach. An access road to the few restaurants at the beach made it convenient for them to walk down with their Mother for a morning stroll while I finalized the day's activities and then drove down to quickly pick them up.
We couldn't fault the hotel but despite our accommodation being a self catering style apartment there is no shop within miles so we had to eat out in what is a very expensive area. That aside, the area is lovely as long as you like staying in the hotel grounds or walking miles along the gorgeous beach and the neighbouring nature reserve. We took my 9 year old grandson and there was nothing for him apart from the pools at the hotel.
Beds are quite hard, otherwise OK. Rental car is almost a must to enjoy the area.
Brilliant hotel, our second visit, excellent price, staff without exception very helpful and very smiley ! Good facility around the pool area , breakfast is eaten there, lovely surroundings to start your day. The restaurant in the evening had plenty of choice and not too expensive, couldn't fail to recommend and we will definately return.
