voco Formosa Park – Algarve

The apartment was very spacey, well laid out and spotlessly clean. Our accommodation was on the ground floor with a lovely terrace facing onto swimming pool and gardens. We felt the location was a little bit too far away from the main tourist centres, but this was our first visit to Portugal, so we weren't familiar with the area. There was a short walk through the trees down to the beach, which had the usual sun beds / umbrellas /sun shades, as well as restaurants etc.The breakfast choice was good and overall the hotel/apartment was a good choice for us. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a large 2 bed apartment with 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space. Great location for a golfing holiday with more than 10 courses nearby. 5 min drive to Quinta da Lago and only 20min to Vilamoura.

Couldn't fault this hotel. Big, modern rooms. Clean and well equipped. Good pool, helpful staff and great breakfast. Not for party animals and a car is a necessity if you aren't looking for a beach / pool holiday.

Overall a great holiday, spacious room and well equipped. Superbly clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and always helpful. A great stretch of beach within walking distance, although the hotel also provided a shuttle bus service. To note: there are no restaurants or bars (apart form the hotel's own) within walking distance, neither are supermarkets or amenities. Definitely recommended to have a rental car to move around if that sort of thing is important to the holiday.

We had a really great stay here, the room are spotless, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere so unless you have a car, are prepared to walk a long way to anything, or get taxis everywhere there is not really anything to do and the prices for eating in any restaurants close to the area are much higher than in the towns surrounding it.

Away for my friends wedding at Doña Filipa! Loved the Formosa! Really welcoming and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a great spontaneous week at this hotel, booking on Tuesday and travelling on Saturday. The entire process on expedia was a doddle. This hotel is great. It is very clean and has good facilities with a lovely pool that my kids and I really enjoyed. It's a little walk to an immaculate beach (though a nature reserver). The staff were very friendly and helpful. They always had a smile. I think a gym would be an excellent addition to this hotel. But other than that I can't fault it. We had a 2 room apartment which was huge with a vast living space, entrance way, 2 bathrooms with full size baths. Absolutley ideal for 4-6 people.

It was a great experience. My children were happy and wish to revisit Formosa Park Hotel. I went with my spouse and three children. Spacious rooms, long balcony, clean bed and environment, very close to the beach and fantastic facilities such as fast lift and clean swimming pool. Staff were friendly, speak English and ready to help. The restaurant attendant was very pleasant. Buffet with varieties for breakfast, nice fruits and palatable hot or cold breakfast options. Value for money; will visit again. However, due to the location, it is advisable to hire a car for easy mobility. Otherwise, taxis could be expensive to get out and back to the hotel.

Staff did everything possible to make our stay a friendly and enjoyable experience. (Only slight ). Food was good and great Happy Hour prices. The cleanliness and facilities of the apartment were excellent.
