Had trouble finding the hotel - directions and signposting would have helped. Parking on arrival on wednesday was really difficult, but improved next day.

Nice hotel, perfect location if need to go to NEC

Breakfast not good if not eating English breakfast, the night staff didn't speak good English.

Svårt att hitta, lite otillgängligt på baksidan, när man är gående från tågstationen, men 15 min promenad. Ej skyltat, vi fick fråga oss fram. Även otydligt hur man hittar gångvägen till NEC! Ej skyltat från hotellet. En kille i receptionen förklarade att man skulle gå upp bakom parkeringen. Man måste gå bredvid motorvägen, men inga tydliga skyltar. 10 min till Bp Pulse. Varmt på rummet, det låg ovanför köket, men fanns fläkt i garderoben.

Hotel location within walking distance of NEC and train station. Large relaxed air conditioned bar area with plenty of comfortable seating, plus a beer terrace outside. Bar food menu was limited to burgers, sanwhiches amd wraps but food was good and reasonably priced. Gluten free option offered. Bar staff were quick to serve everyone, helpful and smiley. Food orders were served to tables surprisingly quickly. Good clean pool and basic gym, plus separate tv lounge so anyone who wanted to watch football could do so without it dominating the bar. No air con in rooms. Hotel generally needs a refresh as decor is old with scratched woodwork, old carpets and generally out of date appearance everywhere except the bar. Very poor water pressure in shower. No bedside tables or anywhere in shower area to put toiletries. Buffet breakfast lacked proper healthy options, just limited yogurts and fruit. Coffee and tea was poured from jugs carried by waitress, but was very weak and the staff did not offer top ups. I called a waitress over to ask for a refill which i got, but then she walked off without even asking my husband if he wanted a refill too. For £14 person this was quite expensive and disappointing. There were plenty of waiting staff there, but they spent most of their time huddled at counter chatting with each other.

Staff were very friendly, good facilities. Breakfast had a good level of options and for a buffet quality was pretty good.

Room was very warm (admittedly weather was hot) with only open window and fan as option to cool.room.

No plug sockets either side of the bed , and no air conditioning in the room

Great hotel and breakfast. Easy for BP Pulse and the shops. Glad we are not there in thd heat as no air conditioning

Just had a lovely couple of days at this hotel for our trip to Gardener's World Live at the NEC. A perfect place to stay - within walking distance of the NEC. The hotel is very comfortable and just what you need for such a stay. The weather was very warm but in the absence of air-con, there was a fan in the room. The bar area and restaurant are great. Food in the restaurant very good quality and very reasonably priced. Staff in all areas are really warm, friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Yes, there might be noise from the main road outside but it's near the airport, main road and a major centre so has to be busy!! It wouldn't stop us returning here. Thanks to all the staff.
