When planning a holiday, particularly over Christmas, there are many factors that can influence where to stay - the location, the weather, the food, trips & tours … All of these can be measured easily and shared with others, through photos, videos, conversations etc. What is very difficult to define is HOW a holiday makes you feel; having stayed at Coco Palm in January, it was a very easy decision to book for a Christmas break for 4 of us and it didn’t disappoint. The entire staff at Coco Palm make you feel like you are part of a family, their warmth and friendliness making you feel relaxed from the moment you walk into reception. Of course the other factors are important - the location is great (next to Reduit beach), the food is fabulous and the opportunity to go out and explore or simply relax by the pool are your choice. Deb and I absolutely love this place and are already planning another stay in 2026; we would wholeheartedly recommend Coco Palm to anyone who visits St Lucia

Just returned from a week at Coco Palm with my two teenage boys and could not recommend a stay here more highly. Many of the families I met there return to Coco Palm year after year and it is easy to see why. It is a family run hotel and you can tell that from the warmth of the welcome and how much care is taken in ensuring guests have the best possible stay in St Lucia. A special mention here to Sherniah who took such great care of us before we had even arrived with her brilliant organisation of our excursions and taxis to and from the airport. The Coco Palm is a genuinely good looking hotel - with a French chateau feel and Creole inspired interiors in elegant greens and golds. The rooms are spacious with extremely comfortable beds, air con and a walk in shower. They are immaculately maintained by the fantastic housekeeping team. There are ground floor rooms which open directly onto the pool and those which open to the patio garden at the back, which we chose for a bit more privacy. It faced into the nearby main strip of Rodney Bay but the noise did not seem to carry and I had no trouble sleeping. The palm tree lined pool is gorgeous and never gets too busy or too noisy. There is a volleyball net and basketball hoop in the pool but the atmosphere is chilled and calm. There was never an early morning rush to lay claim to the poolside sun beds, there always seemed to be enough to go around. There are also four large hammocks under the shade of the trees where you can drift off or watch the humming birds dart around the hibiscus flowers. We had our Christmas lunch at the onsite restaurant Ti Bananne Caribbean Bistro and Bar - which was fantastic. Daily breakfast there is a huge buffet of everything from fresh fruits, cheeses and hams, to baked goods, fry ups and made to order eggs. Absolutely superb both in terms of quality and value for money. There is also a small but well stocked gym on site to work off some of the rum punches and hearty breakfasts. My oldest son went every day - I managed a less impressive two sessions in a week. It's a very short walk to the bars and restaurants of Rodney Bay and the sandy Reduit Beach. I preferred the quieter southern end of the beach but at the other end is a water park, plenty of sun loungers, beach side restaurants and water sports businesses. From here you can hire water taxis to shuttle you to and from nearby Pigeon Island which has quieter beaches and rocky coves for those who love to snorkel. Through the hotel, we booked an afternoon of ATV driving for the boys (not for the faint hearted through the winding mountain backroads) and the Carnival Soufriere Adventure - a day trip on a catamaran down the west coast of the island to see the iconic Pitons, warm up in the Sulphur Springs and then cool down in the Toraille Waterfall (nature's own spa). This was such a fantastic trip (great crew, incredibly tasty lunch and free drinks provided all day). Only downside was they forgot to pick us up in the morning or drop us off at the end of the excursion and we were left for an hour dockside waiting for a taxi. But that mix up aside, this was our holiday highlight. Other recommendations: visit the markets in the nearby capital city of Castries by bus not a taxi. It's a tenth of the price and just as convenient and easy. And don't miss out on the Jump Up on Friday night in neighbouring Gros Islet - non stop dancing and rum and another highlight of a pretty remarkable trip. In short, St Lucia lived up to all our expectations and the wonderful staff and facilities at Coco Palm far exceeded them.

My wife and I visited this lovely hotel recently, we were welcomed very warmley on our arrival, all the staff were amazing throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble, but special thanks must got to our restaurant team of Dencia, Sam, Pam, Teanna, Vanessa, Garnette & Bryan and our bar team of Megal, Malika & Bryan. The food was amazing with very generous portions. We were all inclusive and wanted for nothing. The rooms are large and spacious, bathrooms have a rainfall shower, with large back lite mirrors, an iron and board are provided as well, the house keeping staff are excellent and very helpful The location was ideal for the local bars & restaurants, a short stroll to Reduit beach give acces to a fantastic beach with lots of activities to be had, where you can book excursions to other areas of the island, like the sulphur baths and fresh waterfall by the Pitons. There is a street party held every Friday, which runs from 8pm until late, this is a must when visiting Rodney Bay, where you can sample lots of localy made rum cocktails (strong) and cuisine. We will definitely be back!

Everything was highly walkable, with bars, malls, grocery stores, and great food places just steps away. The beautiful beach and Rodney Bay Marina were also close by, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area without needing transportation. Food and drinks were easily accessible, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service everywhere was excellent, making dining and enjoying drinks both convenient and enjoyable. Room was superb, large, very clean, stylish and furnished comfortably. Lovely patio doors out to back garden which was quiet. Reception area is very impressive. Large pool with lovely seating area around it with pretty gardens. Restaurant and Bar were really nice with great atmosphere. Great choice for buffet breakfast. Excellant tour arranged by concierge. All round great service. Easy access to beach, Bars and restaurants.

No water provided in rooms but maybe a Caribbean thing. Everything else was amazing and would highly recommend.
