"Good stay with friendly staff "

Stayed for one night in July 2020. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. First time I’ve stayed at a Marriott property that I’ve had to sign a statement that I would be charged $500 if smoking or a pet was found - but I guess they’ve had issues in the past. Walmart and a gas station across the street for necessities.

Place was currently being renovate, although I get the pool, and breakfast were down due to Covid-19, but the energy and friendliness of the staff was also down and minimal, it may be a tough time currently, but all the reason to make sure your team feels safe enough to be more engaged and welcoming to their guest. in the morning and the night I had to search just for a simple hello.

"$700 in BOGUS CHARGES!!"

Upon arrival and check-in, I notified the super nice woman at the counter that I had service animals and she told me "No problem". Later that night, my five year old daughter threw up (Taco Bell of all things!) in the bed. I cleaned up the mess and put all of the soiled towels and blankets in the floor. After check out, I was charged a $250 fine for my dogs, $230 for the sheets, and told by an employee named Neil that I was getting off lucky becasue the sheets alone cost more than $500. When I asked to speak to Neil's supervisor, he told me that he did not have one and that he answered to nobody at the company. I guess Neil owns Marriott. The front desk woman even acknowledged that I told her about my dogs, but because there were two of them, they had to charge me the $250. Neil proceeded to tell me that the cleaning/maintenance crew did not even attempt to clean the sheets/towels and just threw them away. Why? COVID he said. I understand being cautious, but if that is the hotel policy, why wasn't everyone charged for brand new bedding? Germs can be invisible too. Also, I was told the carpet needed to replaced in the entire room. My dogs are highly trained, never used the bathroom in the room, and there is absolutely no reason to have to replace ANYTHING in the room. This Marriott is nice, good location, and aside from Neil, friendly staff; but, if they are just charging the guests' credit cards for whatever they deem fit, I'll be staying at the Hilton from now on.

"Great place!"

Great room, very nice man at check-in, was able to wash our clothes. Covid-19 shut the breakfast down but overall a great place to stay!

"Staff pleasant, but hotel still under renovation."

We stopped here for 2 nights so we could visit Point Reyes Lighthouse, Medocino, Fort Bragg and see some Redwoods. The room was fine, but didn't seem much bigger than the Courtyard we stayed at the night before, although there was a seating area, which we didnt use and a second TV. Room furniture was BLACK. I think this was post-renovation. But it made the room very dark. Still some walls and floor in corridor with ld coverings - or none at all. Staff were friendly, smiling and welcoming and it was close to Crush, where we had dinner one night. But 2 nights was more than enough.

"Rather old but very well maintained."

The room was basic, but pleasant. Good parking facilities, and Restaurant Crush very nearby. Check-in staff cheerful. The Hot complimentary breakfast was a very pleasant surprise, full choice os eggs , bacon, sausages, bagels, croissants, yoghurts, fresh fruits, waffles and good coffee! Walmart across the street

They ruined a trip that we booked a month ahead and paid for.. they charged our car 210.00 at check in and we had already paid a long ahead for the room we had not money for the night and we were told we had to wait for manager to get into to town even after we drove to our bank and they said that the hotel chargerd the money ends of the the drama and two hours of talking and arguing they said in the moro f they were sorry and reversed the charges .. but our trip was ruined and they did not offer a trip to stay my 11 year old grand daughters trip was ruined and it would have been nice that they offer a night stay for another time I was so disappointed and until they make it right will never stay again it was their mistake ... i reason to charger the card 210. and they just said sorry but we had to figure out how to get through then night until the next day A month planned trip A paid room and they took all the money left off the card for the night so taco bell was all they had they should have comped them when they apologized for their mistake won’t stay ever again unless they make it right
