Ona Princesa Playa

This Hotel is in an ideal spot, right on the beach front, the views from our room were amazing, (room 509) and the sea breeze was bliss. The Hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good, staff in the dining room were so nice and very helpful, the terrace where you can sit and have breakfast is very comfortable and the views are lovely. My only complaints are, the pool needed cleaning, as there was some algae around the pool, which I did mention to Frankie, the pool is small but served its purpose in the heat, maybe install another or quicker lift, also, I emailed the Hotel before arriving to make sure my adult Son had his own room/space to sleep and Paid extra, which we received, however the sofa is not a sofa bed, and not suitable for sleeping on, maybe change these to sofa beds, as my Son never got a good sleep, but he enjoyed your Hotel location/staff, as did I, and we will definitely go back. Many thanks to Miguel who was super helpful, and your recommendation to go to Picasso Restaurant in Puerto Banus, it was, 1st class, fantastic food, service and value for money, everyone should try this place, you will be amazed. We used Uber, a taxi from the hotel to Puerto Banus was 20 euros, you can also use the boat to go to Puerto Banus, near the Hotel, it takes 30mins and cost 10 euro one way or 18 return or get the bus, also a taxi from Malaga Airport with local taxi drivers to the Hotel was 86 euros and 58 euros with Uber. Just a few minutes walk to the old town of Marbella. Lots of bars and restaurants all around, its the perfect location, and lots to see and do. I have been to Marbella a few times and this was the best location I have stayed in. We also met some lovely people. Many thanks to all the staff

Nice oceanfront view, large room and nice breakfast. Parking was literally under the building in a public parking garage.

We have stayed here a few times, it’s been a while since we last stayed. Location is second to none for the price. Staff good on arrival. Room on 6th floor spacious and clean with a sea view. The roof bar, cafe and pool area are lovely but could do with an overhaul to make the roof top amazing. The lifts are painfully slow especially with 1 of them service lift only. But it’s all about the location, you cannot beat it, right on the strip. We will be back.

Have stayed a few times now and always have an enjoyable stay…already looking forward to next year… the location is great! Staff are super friendly and helpful… rooms are comfortable with everything you need, ideal for a base as never spend much time in the room anyway when on holiday

Staff was pleasant , everything was good!

Property is situated in an excellent location. The rooms need renovating, towels were so old that some had holes. The bed sheets are very old. The most disappointing thing was the cleaning staff is horrible and it's unsanitary conditions how they clean the rooms. They will take your blanket and throw it on the dirty floor on your shoes and then cover your bed with it. I had to go to reception to have my sheets changed, but what upset me even more they were not surprised.

Although dated the property had excellent location and was clean Did not like the elevators arrangements had to wait long for one but we managed like others Breakfast was good and lovely on the 8th floor so was the pool area

Having stayed at Princessa several times a year for the last 15 years it is one of Our favourite hotels despite some idiosyncracies. It remains the only hotel I have stayed in around the world that continues to charge to use the room safe! The location is superb. The hotel has now changed hands and several big changes are planned which will hopefully enhance the property however I hope that it does not lose its current charm and what it does so well.

Excellent location, ask for a sea view room. Lovely staff and good sized rooms. Everything you need is within easy walking distance, and I'm no youngster.

This property is a great stay if you love to be close to the beach and all the cool restaurants right on the beach for a least a km.You are also close to old Marbella which has cool outdoor restaurants just steps away.These is also a small grocery store right on the same block as the hotel.Make sure for get oceanfront worth the money which is a lot cheaper than hotels nearby.The downside is the parking which is right around the corner after checkin but is 23euros a day.The front desk are hit or miss for English speakers with attitude and advice.Breakfesr is worth the money and is on the top floor with a beautiful view of the ocean which you will definitely love and there is a patio to sit outside and have a coffee and breakfast and the young tall lady that works the breakfast always has a genuine smile,front desk should take note.Good value and location for the price,sorry beds are very hard!
