BEI Zhaolong Hotel, part of JdV by Hyatt

If you are afraid of high temp. Don’t book. There’s no ac/fan in elevator. So in hallway. It’s so hot in the elevator. There’s ac on the first and second floor. It has visible mold behind the sink. Room is kind of small. Staff were nice, but uniform is too casual. The location of this hotel is golden. Very walkable, bikeble. And subway is just around the corner. Walking distance to SANLITUN.

Huge comfortable bed, lovely spacious room, lots of free bottled water stocked up and a fridge to use as you see fit. Nice bathroom and lovely big shower. We had a room on 11th floor. Team were friendly and helpful, but the hotel just lacks any atmosphere I’m afraid. No bar to enjoy a late (or early) drink. Great base, taxi pick up at front door, just not a welcoming arrival given check in is on the 2nd floor and lacks any excitement or atmosphere, which is a shame given everything else positive it has going for it.

The location is great. Subway line 10 is near and only takes 5 minutes to get to the hotel once leaving exit D The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. Many western type foods are also available as well as a great shopping mall.

We found two dead roaches that were crushed into the carpet in the hallway leading to the elevators from our room on the 11 floor. We did not see any roaches in our rooms. This is China, you will be hard pressed to find any hotel that doesn't have some sort of a roach problem. Big or small. Rooms are nice size but bathrooms are small. Do not pay extra for room with a view option. Every room has a view. The building is in the shape of a triangle.

Location is great, close to subway.

breakfast should be improved less variety of foods.
