Property has recently undergone a change of ownership and there are clearly some organizational challenges, particularly with respect to housekeeping and front desk communication. A beautiful spacious site adjacent to Discovery Passage but rooms in need of a major renovation to contemporary standards. Room with wash basin separate from the main ensuite which was tiny...all very 70s/80s !! Main building lovely historical vibe with great out door patios. Outdoor pool much too small for size of facility...again ..70s/80s....Great potential !!

Ocean view was wonderful. Clean rooms. Pool could use a bit more attention as there was a pile of used towels and no fresh ones to use. Asked for fresh towels at the front and it did take quite a bit of time to get some. Overall the stay was very nice. Would come back again

Has great potential, and it a lovely location.

Property was mid renovation, and it seemed like everything was getting set up. The staff were friendly but it just seemed like they were open before being ready

The location was fabulous. Our room was right on the water and the room was large with vaulted ceilings

We loved the property, but it has had a bit of deferred maintenance that needs upgrading for how magnificent the buildings are

The staff were amazing! When we arrived, they did not actually have my booking (which I booked using Expedia) but I had the confirmation email. They made sure to calmly go over some options for my family. We had a family loft room booked and they upgraded us to a larger accommodation that would be comfortable for myself and my four kids. House keeping came to our cabin each day to freshen up. The kids loved the outdoor pool, even though it was nothing special. We love the grounds of the resort and the lodge, even though it is old, it has a lot of character.

Pool was nice. Tennis courts were in good shape.

I think the location changed ownership a few months ago and there were some transition issues; Food and Beverage had a lot of shorted items ( white and red wine were out, Food items were out of stock). Hard to get thru to staff in May to organize fishing.
