Had a lovely week here over Easter. My kids loved the pools and the park. The park is one if the best I have been to. Pools are warm enough and slides are great. Rooms are big and clean, definitely recommend the pool view. Staff are lovely, there just aren't enough staff behind the bar as there are long queues to get a drink. Food is really nice, especially at the snack bar. Entertainment team are good, the Entertainment of an evening was hit and miss, first night there was a rock band that were absolutely superb. Other nights weren't as good, especially quiz night which was poor. The pool area is lovely, there are plenty of sunbeds however you still get the usual inbreds who queue up before 8am to get their favourite bed, obviously have nothing better to do. Overall it is a lovely hotel in a great location. Just get more staff in the restaurant and behind the bar and I'd give it 5 stars next time. I will definitely go back.

Overall, our stay had some genuinely great moments, but a few areas could do with improvement. The pool restaurant is great, the food is excellent and the screen-based ordering system works brilliantly. Loved the omelettes at breakfast unfortunately, the rest of the breakfast spread tends to be cold, which lets the side down. The bar staff work hard and clearly give it their best, but drink queues grow significantly as the day progresses, so be prepared for a wait during busier periods. Sunbeds are in very high demand. The gates open at 8am and guests rush to claim their spots, arriving by 7:50am is advisable if you want to secure one. The hotel would do well to consider opening the adults-only pool area to families during school holidays, which would ease the pressure on the main pool considerably. Evening dining for families could be improved. The children's menu is quite limited, and adding pizza as an evening option would make a real difference. It's also worth noting that when you're shown to your table for dinner, no drinks are offered everything is self-service. Most hotels bring your first drink to the table, and adopting this practice here would also help reduce queue-jumping through the restaurant exit.
