Comfort Inn East Windsor - Springfield

Comfortable beds, good amenities. However, shower soap dispenser was empty and several light bulbs were burned out in the bathroom and main room. Several electrical outlets were broken or damaged. Breakfast choices were adequate, but several mornings the coffee dispenser was empty and eggs were cold.

Quiet, great places to eat, and quick and easy to uber/lyft from hotel

This hotel was a nightmare of a check in. When we arrived exhausted from a full day of driving the room we were given had another guest. The only other room that they could give us with the two beds we reserved had a broken toilet handle. We took it since we were exhausted and had no other options with the two beds after having this whole process take a good half hour to 45 minutes. The employee told us it was the manager's fault and that she had been "really tired" when giving the room to someone else.. When I asked in the morning if anything would be done the employee was short with me and told me the manager wouldn't be in for at least another 45 minutes. It did get fixed while we were out. When we returned to our room neither key would work and we had to go back downstairs to deal with it. Nothing was done to compensate and the manager certainly did nothing to apologize to us for the horrible experience.

The most uncomfortable mattress I've ever had at a hotel. I felt every spring in my back. The breakfast options were a disaster. I specifically chose this hotel because it had breakfast, so I was very disappointed. I ended up going to Burger King. And on top of that, every bagel and slice of bread was individually wrapped in plastic, which is just a ridiculous amount of waste.
