We had an exceptional time at Harmony Motel & Chucks Cabin Vacation Rental !! Ash is the best host, very responsive & accommodating. The Motel is cozy & bright, located right on 29 Palms Hwy, but secluded & quiet. Chucks Cabin is a gem of a desert spot. Big rooms, comfy beds & a beautiful canyon vista. We especially love the sunrises & sunsets ! Cooking & food prep is easy in a fully stocked kitchen. Access to the Joshua Tree National Park North entrance is a 5-10 minute drive away.We have been guests here several time & love it in all seasons.

This modest motel in a gorgeous location is a sweet deal. The rooms feel very clean and the manager, who lives on site, is helpful and responsive. We chose a room with a kitchenette— nice and spacious— with a closing door between it and the bedroom. The hot tub is robustly heated and adjacent to a refreshingly cold pool. Recommend!

Wonderful experience! We are planning our next trip already to visit again. Clean room and Ash is amazing answering questions. Watching sunrise every morning was breathtaking.

Locally owned for >21 years. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great location for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. 3 stars as I found it to be average which is what 3 stars is, not bad. If you don't want to camp at the park, this is a great alternative. Overall we were pleased. Few things to know. Not being negative but factual: Not all parking is paved. At least rooms 5/6 have to drive over rutted, rocky dirt to get to room. My car (rental!) bottomed out each time. Can't imagine driving in the rain. No fridge, microwave or ice machine. There is a "community kitchen" you can pay $10 per day to use and that has a fridge - limited hours. She will let you use an ice chest for free and will sell you a small bag of ice for $1.50. Shower head in our room had poor flow, water was barely luke-warm and shower curtain did not have weights on the bottom so flew all over so whole bathroom floor gets wet with each shower. Heater works but thermostat does not work well so room temp is inconsistent. Did not use a/c.

Everything. I’ve coming to this place for many years. This place is very special. Ash is a wonderful manager and the value for the price is unbelievable. It is such a special place!!!
