Express Inn & Suites Houston Katy

The check-in was easy and quick. We took our bags to room and then had to leave for activities in the area. We didn't return to room until after midnight. The toilet wasn't working/flushing, there was water on the bathroom floor from a leaking toilet. There was dust on the clothes rack and other items. The sign said breakfast from 6 am - 9 am. We went into breakfast area at 6:15 am (one table total) and no coffee, no breakfast nothing. We checked out at 7 am and they were finally loading the coffee maker. Told desk clerk about toilet and she implied that we must have done something to it. Will NEVER stay there again. Bad reflection on Super 8 which we've usually been happy with.

The hotel is nice the person who checks you in is real rude

I own a mobile repair company and enjoyed my stay at Motel 8. The staff are extremely nice people and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The beds are huge and they serve a good breakfast. I will be visiting again if needed in the future. Thanks yall!

Toilet seat not properly fastened to toilet. When toilet was flushed the water continued to flow after the flush. I reported this to the office immediately after check in. I was told that they would check out the problem while I went to dinner. Upon return I noticed nothing had been done. The office advised that there was nothing they could do about the toilet seat and that after flushing the toilet you always have to lift up on the handle to stop the flush. I stayed the night as I had just traveled for 14 hours and was too tired to move. I canceled the next two nights stay and moved to another nearby hotel. This was my first stay at a Super 8. It was my last.

I kept having trouble with the keys not working to open the door. I let them know and the owner gave me attitude, “now what?”. The owner gave me a new key but I continued having the problem. I let them know again and they did not want to help me. On top of that, check out time was at 11AM and I kept having my room opened by the house keeping regardless of the “do not disturb” hanger on the door. So I left feeling like I was being pushed out.

Toilet plugged, told me to come get plunger. Went to room in afternoon, my door wide open with suitcase inside ,as were 4 others,for over 20 minutes with no employee in site. Took luggage and locked in car. Goop on table when I arrived, still there after cleaning-employee put lamp on it. There's more....

I have been staying here a few weeks while my home is being repaired and this is absolutely the worst hotel or business I have ever encountered. I've been called a lazy a**hole on my days off for laying in bed by the owner/manager Nina. She's demanded that I help her clean rooms?? And has walked in on me changing without knocking then leaves the door open and says I need to get out so she can clean. She lives in the front office and is always intoxicated. She refused to give me a new key after I locked myself out, stating that I need to wake my wife up next time instead of her. She has no night staff and the little staff she did have I watched the maid throw a broom at her after she was so unbelievablunbelievably disrespectful to the maid so she quit and walked off the lot right in front of us. She treats us like dogs actually I treat my dog better. She acts like she's giving us free rooms and we need to help out. I pay 80 bucks a night! I literally cannot even put into words how horribly this place is the property itself isn't so bad but I've honestly never been treated so bad by an establishment that I am paying. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

I can't believe that I stayed in this dump for $134. I was told on the phone that this hotel provided a full breakfast. The room to eat in was the 100 sq. foot lobby. It had ONE small table with 3 chairs. We chose not to eat there. The sheets were stained, as was the toilet. Whoever applied the caulking in the bathroom did a terrible job. It was smeared everywhere. The lighting was very dim. The receptionist was trying to talk to me and someone on her phone at the same time. I could barely read the settings on the ac/heat unit. Terrible experience. It truly looked like a revamped Motel 6!

Small place but was within reasonable distance to food, shopping and our evening out.

This room was so nasty we didn’t stay for longer than 15 mins. The room smelled of cigarettes, the comforter had cigarette burns all over it. The bathroom sink had brown spots all over it.
