Express Inn & Suites Houston Katy

No good service, No good utility, too much smelling from comfort, much rust water from bathroom

This is not the cheapest hotel, nor is it the newest. Yet I find myself renting the same room every time I return to my beloved Katy for work. Something about the atmosphere and the people...getting scolded about smoking reminds me of my mom or someone that truly cares. Because that is exactly the reason I'll continue to rent a room in Katy, that unlike most others experiences when staying at hotels....unfamiliar rooms and unfamiliar faces...I'm treated with a sort of kindness that I really only ever found at home. Even the sweet young man (child) smiles and waves as his mother and father happily chat with me while I book again and again. Its an absolute honor to write this review. I hope anyone reading this tries the Super 8 a couple times and is rewarded with the same experience and feeling of family / fun that I am each and every visit. I love you guys. Ac / heat was not working at all. Paper thin walls. Had the ac worked I would have utilized it to counter the noise from the highway. Heard all the folks walking above us till about 2am

Some how it showed me reserving a handicap room. Which I did not. And the lady got upset that I did but i didn’t

Staff is absolutely rude, would not give me a room unless I paid for an extra person when I booked a double bed room. Was given the stupidest excuse. Do not recommend. Disgusted.

We stayed local. Nothing fancy. Hot tub had a few issues but we were able to resolve it. Room had a few bugs in it that we needed to kill. No bed bugs though. Just bugs. Other than that issue all was good.

The lady there that's in charge running the darn place was rude and mean! Also the shower in the room did not work too well either. I had already made a reservation there and when I got there I had waited around for about 15 or more minutes because nobody was at the window at the time when I first walked into the front door.

I had made the reservation for one adult, even though the price for two adults was the same, but I live in Katy and had a full house, so I just needed a friend to stay there for the night. When we got there the receptionist said she would charge extra because we were two adults and the reservation was only for one adult. I explained that I was just dropping him off and was not going to stay and she said that a lot of people say that but they actually stay etc., she said that they would be watching and if they found that I stayed they would make an extra charge to my card. I never had an experience like that I felt so disrespected. I am picking up and expect she will not make any extra charges to my card.

Bad customer service that requires a pre deposit on a old dirty motel smh
