Express Inn & Suites Houston Katy

Customer service was terrible. They couldn't even figure out how to check us in. We called to try to get our reservation changed to a room with a hot tub and they wouldn't change it even though there plenty of empty rooms when we arrived.

One of the worst! The lady was rude, and told me there would be no breakfast because business was slow. Dirty and scary. I booked on line for two double beds, and they wanted to give me a king. Sad sad

It was really bad we had to wait one hour in the car before we gotcha check in the lady at front was no wear to be found she lied to us and said she was at the front desk the whole time she was asleep in her room.

The parking lot is too small. The breakfast area needs attention and more selection. No fruits or bagels or muffins and the waffle batter not being refrigerated and partly uncovered as well as the syrup is unsanitary.

Our room was clean as could be but it smelled like cigarette smoke. Desk told us we could change rooms but we did not. Left at 6 the next morning and there was no coffee in office where breakfast was. No breakfast out either.

Rude clerk to receive you. Water would either run too hot or too cold on it's own. Wifi never worked. Cleaning staff tried entering at 9 am when check out is at 11. Then they tried running a hold after the room was paid upfront without explaining it to us at the counter. The only reason I knew of the separate charge was because my bank notified me.

I have never taken the time to write a review but if you have any other options stay anywhere but here. The front desk clerk was extremely rude messed up the reservation and charged twice. Roaches on the floor free of charge.

The room was gross, dead roaches, live roaches, an inch thick of dust on everything and cup rings on the side tables. Pretty sure the room hadn't been touched in weeks. The air conditioner took 5 hours to cool the room off. The staff was great and very nice. The Jacuzzi was the only good part of the room oh and the pillows.
