Bridge Guest House

The owners made me feel welcome from the start and throughout my stay. There are places to eat near by and the town centre is a short walk.Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared to order.

Unfortunately paling was an issue as there is little street parking and the B&B parking is limited in both space and availability. The single room I was in had a very small on-suite especially the shower which was a disappointment.

Lovely staff, nice breakfast, great location.

Arrived really late and Richard was so understanding and kind. Had a lovely nights rest and one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. A wonderful stay, hosts were amazing!

It really suited why we were in the area. The owners were excellent hosts and breakfasts cooked and presented very good

Great location, hosts Richard and Ling were very welcoming nothing was too much effort for them. Great breakfast (full English) to set you up for the day. Very comfortable room with tea & coffee making facilities along with a bottle of water.

Only observation was parking as we stayed during the week, however this is no fault of Richard and Ling who were able to advise where to park. We found street parking (free) as Richard explained and no more than a 3 minute walk to the guest house.

Nothing it was super. Just in case, if you have mobility problems there is no lift and the bedrooms are on the first and second floors. Didn't bother us in the least and I am sure the hosts would have helped but it might be an issue for some.

Excellent value for money. Beautiful location. Right on the river and near shops/cafes. The owner's were very friendly. Rooms clean. Great breakfast. Pretty standard BnB thinner walls but not an issue as people generally don't come in late at night or make a ruckus. Shower was small but for the price I wouldn't even expect an ensuite so that was great! Would absolutely stay again!

Worth noting there is only parking at night and weekends. I also dismissed other reviews saying it was tight to get into the car park, but it is a squeeze and I have a small car. However there is free parking just across the bridge which the owner's can point you towards which is just a couple of minutes walk. I easily found a space there for my whole stay.
